There was (and still is) a thoroughly interesting concept on hive. Sometime ago, a NFT was launched that when purchased, gave everyone access to the posting key of an account. Thus, the content written by that particular account could be from any of the holders of that NFT.
Anonymity combined with the digital identity that an "author" imposes on a piece of writing or visual artifact is an interesting act of performance art.
Random thought on "sell me this pen" (the pen being the platform, the account, the service that enables expression, like hive) - you can use the device to communicate intent, threat, joy, love, or any other number of things, but the pen is just an agent of the potential embodied in those who wield it.
Have your read parts of larimer's book "More Equal Animals" I am sure you know he was the developer who was behind bitshares, steem (the original code from which hive forked) - and a few other things.
It has some interesting musings on the right to "opt out" of systems. :)

Using the methods Hive and Keychain devs have created to enable Hive users to secure and access our accounts and funds, identity can be established without involving extraneous data, or storing any PII on institutional servers, where it is vulnerable to poor data security practices and hackers. Keychain or Hive.Auth would be preferable in every way to any government issued track and trace surveillance ID mechanism.
I am way out of my wheelhouse on this issue, but I am no less at risk than any of us of the hazards and harms that will arise deliberately, because the purpose of the powerful in forcing digital ID on the people of the world will be to gain more power, and that will come at our expense.
Please consider whether we can allow this to be done to us without undertaking to demonstrate that there's no excuses for loss of sovereignty, security, or assets to tyrannical digital identity schemes, or the imposition of social credit scores and control of every aspect of our access to the blessings of civilization. If you are competent to work in this field, or know someone that is and has robust interest in keeping what's theirs, let me know what you think Hive can do as a trusted identity provider, or have them competent you know do so.

Currently, all of my phone conversations, texts, and financial transactions are under state surveillance.
In particular, individuals who reveal the secrets of the overlords to foreigners like you are subject to criminal punishment for defamation and insult.
The overlords are threatening that individuals who are hated by the overlords will not be able to travel abroad, including to the United States.

Yep. I actually checked just to make sure, and Vietnam shut down the accounts because the owners had refused to add biometric data demanded by the government and banks. I have lost ~$1000 for that very reason, because the freedom I have is worth far more than any tokens that were being used to extort me into giving the evil banksters that biometric data. I am certain it is more valuable to me to not have my biometric data in the database the bank itself will misuse and sell on, as well as fail to protect with care and allow hackers to gain and misuse that information in even worse ways, and because it's biometric data I can never, ever change, that would cause me suffering all the rest of my life, than it is to keep that ~$1000 I had.
However, that reminds me, I need to keep at that evil bank and demand my $1000 they had no right to just take. I'm not going to use my biometric data as ID ever, no matter what it costs, because the cost of my biometric data being abused can be absolute slavery that I can never escape. That doesn't mean I gave away my money to that extortionate bank. I can make that in a day working, but I sure as hell don't want to work to enable evil banksters to spend my money doing evil.
