Hello there!
Felt super ecstatic that finally my favorite park has been re-opened for public usage. Coming here often spurred inspirations. When I am stressed out, looking at lotus plants provided me a sense of calmness. I then have the resolve and tendency to consciously replace evil thoughts with purer ones such as food of sorts.🤣
If only human-beings can be as useful as the lotus plant. Every part of the plant is edible. Add peanuts and dried scallops to lotus roots and they will turn into one of the most savory broth within an hour. The stem too can be made into soup or weave into lotus silk. The leaves serve to aromatically perfume steamed glutinous rice.
The beautiful flowers when fried will be so crispy and delicate. Lotus flowers also function as elegant salad wraps. Needless to mention that lotus seeds will become crunchy popcorns after leaving them for a day in a dehydrator or they magically transform into the smoothest caramelized paste for vegetarian buns after an hour in a pressurized cooker.
Lotus plants are endlessly functional. Otherwise, they are simply a pleasure to look at. Aren't you hungry impress yet?
