the work of curator is very important because thanks to you, many users will commit to writing more and more. the sportstalk community, more than others, needs so many authors to take care of writing so many beautiful sports items! so your contribution as a curator, even if you don't write much, is extremely important

Excellent review @rokyupjung and your idea with a white list looks amazing, well done!

I think my answers to your questions are mostly 'yes'. But each member of the community may not agree entirely.

Short new reports are fine, but may come across greedy if there are multiple each day and the only person rewarding them is the author.

I am not too keen on short comments being upvoted by the author - new arrivals seeing this may be put off.

These are early days and so I guess we just have to take things as they come and make decisions individually and together. The links I shared today have been greeted with downvotes, I see your name on the list of people disagreeing with those rewards also.

Cheers!

looking forward to !

Hello @rokyupjung . I found your post in the "hot" section. Maybe I could also join to your white list? Just from tomorrow I'm going back to exercise, after illness. Please check my previous posts on steemit. Today I started the adventure with sportstalksocial.

Great way to go and I look for posts that don't have any support and if they seem to be making an effort I will upvote it to share the support around.

@rokyupjung, In my opinion if you put these kind of efforts regularly then over the period of time you will going to hold the Expertise in sports writing too. Keep up and i am also passionate about the Football ⚽.

good initiative, there are currently few accounts in sportstalksocial and the best way to build trust in the community is by supporting these undervalued authors.

Well just read those two blog posts there and its very crucial for the community too to come along and make this even better place than ever before for all the sports lovers

Very good initiative buddy ... I think the sportstalk community will continue to grow and I am committed to building it in my country (Indonesia). Nice to meet you here...

Hello, I'm starting my adventure with sports and sportstalk portal and would like to join the white list.

Hello.

You did not take the time to read my comment last time. So I don't feel like writing it again. I see you support a lot of people, but I must say after seeing some of the content I wonder if you want this platform to succeed.

I am also monitoring the upvoting and the posts that I have upvoted

I call BS on that.

An example, you support @russia-btc with 1K+ daily votes, who is posting stolen content some of it is under copyright which could put this platform in jeopardy.

And yes I am salty after seeing you voted on my post that took me hours to make with 200Sport, you get where I'm going with this? smh But whatever that's not the point here, check on people that you support from time to time. Some post garbage.

I understood and I know I have a responsibility to be a wise curator. I am also trying to monitor. Only in the last few days I didnt have time to check all the post because of my autistic kid had a mood swing problem that I had to keep a close eye on. Sometimes, for me life and steem balance is not working. :<
Sure I will put more time to monitoring. Thanks for advice. And as I wrote in the post, I want to reward people by the fact that they are participating. Some better curators than me are doing great jobs in putting values on more quality posts, which is good. But I also think we have to curate people to feel welcomed. At least, if there is any violences in Sports Talk Social guidelines, the the author must not be rewarded. Yes. I agree with you. Thanks for the input!

Thank you for your reply.

Sorry to hear about your child, I hope all is/will be well :) I understand that life can sometimes keep us off steem blockchain.

As I wrote in the post, I want to reward people by the fact that they are participating.

Yes, I think its a nice initiative of you putting effort into this, but I suggest doing the "welcome gifts" manually. Some people get the "we are not here to take part, but here to take over" mentality after being rewarded time and time again for total BS. I trust you will make the proper adjustments when you find the time for it. Thank you and have a nice day.

Definitely!

I cant agree with more with what you commented! That is my homework to do. I hope to find time to do it more properly. Sometimes, when I see some heavy engagers in Steem, it is very shocking to me that how they find a huge amount time to commit in here! I know it is a very meaningful work that they do. I appreciate that.
Anyway, thanks for taking time to advise to me. Really appreciated. By the way, English is not my tongue. Am I sound ok?

I'm glad we had this conversation. It was my pleasure :)

By the way, English is not my tongue. Am I sound ok?

Yes, you sound totally fine;)

Enjoy your day!

ok - no problem.

  • But I have a question - what other content is prohibited? Should we now check everything we publish? Lol

You are not publishing anything but stolen videos, you are not a content creator. You in fact steal and try to earn of other peoples work. Check yourself dummy, and maybe write a post for a change or make your own video. Or at least add your freaking comment to the post so it at least looks like something worthy of being called a post and it has your touch to it.

Example: Post video from youtube, but first watch it and tell something about it in the post. Not rocket science.

you are the worst offspring of #steem - you are trying to dictate your own rules to people - and I’m not going to insult people to your level 👋

Posted using Partiko iOS

LOL I make my own quality content, your just a spammer, unfortunately. If that's insulting to you so be it. I'm just calling you out, nothing else.

I am not inforcing any rules, you can ask @dtube if its allowed to post UFC videos and you will get a clear answer, NO.

you boast now - and this is ridiculous - there are many newbies here and I including / and everyone will have good posts but you will not be judged on their quality / rules are not forbidden to upload content from YouTube / ufc today I just heard - I’ll check

Posted using Partiko iOS

After calling me the worst offspring of #steem, I have the right to put you in your place.

I did not understand whatever you wrote, so I'm getting an idea of why you don't write posts. Not insulting you, but did you think of maybe writing posts in Russian since your Russian=? There is a russian community on Steemit and I'm sure soon on #sportstalksocial as well.

Please go ahead and check the rules.

Copy/paste this: @dtube am I allowed to post UFC copyrighted videos of fights and events?

So you won't mess up something. And again, I don't want to insult you nor enforce any rules. Take it as an advice, okay? I will still flag UFC videos if I see them, yours or not.

Hey, buddy.
I dont want to blame anyone according to any given rules. We can reconcile and moderate our effort to be a better Steemian. Actually, I am not a good one, either. Lets work together to make it for all of us to grow in a harmonious way! Thanks for participating in Sport Talk Social! Peace.

Everything will be ok - we have no reason to swear. It seems to me that the UFC should pay @dtube for the popularization of the battles) LOL I guess it’s probably easier for me to work in Russian - but very few people - and there is no filter by language @kid4life

Posted using Partiko iOS

I am Korean! :). I feel difficulty, too.

I think that this is the #steem problem - I think that this is the main problem. It is impossible to write good text in English - there is no good text there are no voters. I don’t know how to solve this problem yet 🤷‍♂️

Posted using Partiko iOS

Of course.

UFC could sue @dtube/steemit as they did other companies in the past, they are making themselves very clear about that. The $ fines are ridiculous.

Hmm, I've understood you now. Maybe you just need to think harder when you write. Do you know about https://golos.io/? Its a Russian clone of steemit. Check it out. Other than that I think you can post writing Russian on steemit as well and get support from people.

I have to catch some sleep now. We will continue this tomorrow.

Goodnight!

Hi bro

@kid4life

Hello Hello.

I can barely see what anyone wrote:(

From my understanding your trying to tell me that its okay to post UFC videos?

I must break it to you a friend of mine posted same videos some time ago and got flagged by @dtube account, I dont know why would they change their policy. I will go in Discord and inform myself about it, if thats the case I will remove the flags.

@rokyupjung Hi, I'm starting my adventure with sports and sportstalk portal. Please join the list as you can...
