Happy weekend everybody. I come into your various homes today too with an amazing #marketfriday moment which has always been the initiative of the empress of blockchain @dswigle(Denise). Everyone is invited to join this amazing challenge as it allows us to share the various markets across the world. This is where we see the beauty of many different cultures. It is a moment where we see what people buy, shop, eat, wear, and their lifestyle. This is how my market went today.

I found myself at the Kumasi central market here in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Moving through the lanes is where l spotted this place to check out the prices of these farm tools. This came up simply because l have been a task to get some farm tools for some women in crop production. There are several women here in Africa who cannot afford to buy some of these farm tools for their daily farming activities. And so going out to purchase these tools for their use was very necessary. And this is why l am here today.

Among the few tools, l purchased today are cutlasses, hoes, hook, rakes, mattock, and few others. You have no idea how helpful these tools are going to be of great help to the women to benefit from this gesture. In effect, it is going to reduce the stress and the pain they go through in their farming activity and help also to increase the production of farm produce. If not for commercial purposes, for themselves and their families.

This is how the challenge goes. Join us now to share the market near you. It is that easy. Happy weekend to all lovers of this pretty challenge. Corona is real. Let us all be safe and keep up the good work. Happy weekend.

That is such a very kind gesture, Sam! @mcsamm

Not to be nosy, but, who pays for these tools for the women? Is it an organization? Or do you take it out of your own pocket? I know for a fact that tools such as these really make life easier on a farm and I am sure these women will be eternally grateful when they see them. Who wouldn't be?

This is another dimension of how Ghana and the people of Ghana connect with one another, making the culture a heartwarming story. Thank you for sharing it with us. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I appreciate the love and support you are giving to #MarketFriday! There are so many challenges here on Hive and it warms my heart to see that you chose to be a part of this one. It is people such as yourself that made it into such a successful challenge! It takes a lot of effort and thoughts to put together a post for the #MarketFriday challenge. I know this first-hand and so, again, it is appreciated. Thank you again for being a part of all this!
