What it takes as a Photographer on Steemit?

I'm sure if you are a photographer here on Steemit you wonder

"How do they get so many views, so many comments, so many upvotes?"

Well, i wanted to explain this a little more as i have been in the same boat as you at the beginning of my Steemit Journey.

See there are many MANY factors that will determain on weather your post will be success full or not, but let me go ahead and cover some basic things and hopefully you will understand a little better on what it will take to get into the "HOT" or "Trending" section on here.

I recently read this and it really struck me.
"you need to create content that appeals to your specific niche, think of what you want to read and see in a post"

This is very true to a certain point, YOU still need to keep your work unique and do what you really are passionate about. but you should also think how you can get more people involved in "interacting" with you in your post. Ask questions, make an interesting statement, interaction is key in content!

Next i think is to be yourself, being yourself is the easiest thing you can do when it comes to your photography, if you force something on yourself you will likely not succeed. Plus it brings out the true passion in you when you create your photographs as well as when you create your content.

TIME!

i can't stress this one enough, just like everything in the world, it takes time to build. yes, you do see these stories that someone just went from 0-100 in a matter of days, but let's be honest, it takes time to build an audience to build a networking group. Plus you don't want to just have random people following you and randomly liking your stuff (well maybe)? you want like minded people following you that share the same passion as you do in photography. It's just like on any other social platform, you want to have a connection with people that share the same interest.

Keep up the work!
i know you might get discouraged for a while because you see your posts just not reaching what you want them to reach... but just stay at it, keep on doing what you are doing, you will eventually succeed and look back to the day where you only got a hand full of replies on something and you will tell yourself "I made it!"

At the end of the day, Photography is your passion, hobby or even your business.

So grab your camera, go outside and start snapping away!

Let me see some of your recent photography work that you have been working on! Plus it is a great way for each and every one of use to interact and to get creative ideas.

You are right on. Consistent action is the only way to make anything worth it. You never know when the right person sees the right thing at the right time and blows it all up.

Absolutely! Sometimes, only sometimes one person can make a difference that you never thought imaginable!
