There is no way you can substantiate your actions or your thoughts towards something without putting actions into it. For example, you cannot claim that you believe you can succeed at an examination until you have taken the examination. I mean, you have to sit and write the exam to prove that you believe you can achieve success in it. More so, it is only when you back your thoughts or ideas with relevant actions that it will have the capacity to deliver the desired results.

No matter how powerful your thoughts are, you have to start somewhere by proving them with actions, otherwise they will remain as just ordinary thoughts. Even though every great achievement will definitely start as a thought, but they should not remain as a thought, otherwise nothing will be achieved from it. Thoughts are in the similitude of seeds but actions are the act of planting the seeds. You will agree with me that no matter how beautiful a seed may look and how potent it may be, it will not produce until it is planted. In the same way, it does not matter how good your thoughts are, actions must back them up in order to draw profits from them.
The reason why a lot of people have not achieved what they wanted to, is not because they lack the ideas on what to do, neither is it because they do not know what to do, but simply because they have refused to do it. One thing to know is that dreams cannot fulfill themselves, neither can ideas become reality without doing anything. If you want something to happen, then you must have to get it done by actions. If you are waiting for things to fall into place for you without doing anything or taking any step, then you will have to wait for so long in futility. You need to know that behind every success you see is someone determined to make it happen and not just as a result of wishful thinking or luck, but as a result of determined actions taken at the right time.
When it comes to taking actions, timing holds a very great deal of importance. If you delay an idea whose time has come, it may render the idea null or obsolete. Ideas, more often than not, have a specific allocated time frame which they remain valid. This is why you need to be determined to take prompt action as soon as you conceive an idea. The ideas you are creating may also be thought by more people than you can ever imagine. If you keep delaying taking actions, you will be surprised how others will implement their own and it will render your own unoriginal.

I remember when a friend once shared his idea with me on what he wanted to produce and sell. I told him it is a nice idea and encouraged him to start. However, for a while, he kept talking about it without taking any step towards starting. Even when I tried encouraging him, he would always say "yes I have it in mind, I will get to work soon." That was what he kept saying until one day, as we were taking a stroll from my place, we saw someone already selling exactly the same thing that he had the idea. He was surprised to see it, but what is more surprising is the fact that that other person was already taking over the entire market. This would have been him, but he slacked in his actions. Opportunity, as they say, does not wait for anyone.
The actions that must deliver the desired results should not only be the right actions, but the actions should be taken rightly and at the right time. If you take the right actions at the wrong time, it may potentially affect the action negatively. Take this instance; if a farmer slacked through the raining season and did not plant his seeds, if he begins to plant it in the harmattan when everywhere is already dried, even though it is the right action, it will still not deliver the right result because it is not the right time. When you do things at the right time, then you have already given yourself an advantage over others who do not. This is why I normally tell people this, as I conclude with it:
Do not continue thinking, start taking relevant actions.
