With the recent HIVE launch a lot of old drama has resurfaced.
The tensions have been high between the HIVE community and the Justin Sun supporters for a while now which seems will continue into the future.
One person (@heimindanger) took advantage of this situation and the fact that he controls one of the oldest dapps on STEEM (@dtube) to try and retaliate against all developers and community leaders that did not want to work with him in the past due to his unstable behavior and unsettling comments towards them.
He was marginalized by his peers and this split has shown to be the ideal situation for him to try and retaliate.
Even though many claim that Dtube is indeed a decentralized project, Heimindanger has used his control over the Dtube account to run a witness node on Steem while taking the openly offered bribe that exists to help hide the fact that Justin Sun is in absolute control of the blockchain.
To satisfy his need for retaliation against all those that would not tolerate his abusive behavior he used Dtube and made a move that is against everything all other ex-steem devs, the community and community leaders stand for, just to spite them and to create a larger split in the community. (as can be seen in his numerous comments).
By doing so Dtube ("D" stands for decentralization) is now in absolute support of not only centralization of the Steem blockchain but is also complicit in Justin Suns deception attempts to hide that very fact.
Dtube has unfortunately turned into a TRON propaganda tool.
It shows how one persons ego and bad blood that exists can affect the future of an apparently decentralized project.
THE THREATS:
Recently i have personally been targeted by @heimindanger. Because of my criticism of his actions and because i ridiculed his death threats through memes, he started using the @dtube account to downvote all my posts on HIVE and all my posts and comments on STEEM.
I want to emphasize... Dtube is decentralized, its just that Heimindanger owns all Dtube accounts on Steem, Hive and on twitter that he uses for his own personal vendettas.
Important distinction.
Dtube-decentralized..... but The Dtube accounts on Steem, Hive, Twitter, the D.tube domain are all owned by heimindanger ;)
Because of our recent interactions Heimindanger has contacted me on Discord to further threaten me and everyone that spoke up about his rape and death threats.
It is even more disturbing because this is something you would expect to hear from a Harvey Weinstein type character, not from a Steem witness.
Not only that but he threatened the HIVE blockchain directly while at the same time announcing support for Hive integration with Dtube.
He is attacking HIVE directly while at the same time attempting to keep the Dtube community in the dark, hiding his true intentions with announcements like this.
@netuoso, one of the people Heimindanger threatened to stab is especially mentioned in his DM to me. He is pointing Netuoso out as his main target in many comments.
This post is meant to raise awareness about people like Heimindanger that lurk in our midst and use the internet to harass people which i can only explain as them compensating for their impotence of expressing themselves in the real world.
I usually never share DMs publicly but he was aware that i would and has even offered tips on what i should write by giving me names of those he wants to be aware of his threats.. So here it is @gtg.
Some of his personal threats to me. Since he has less HP on his personally owned accounts then i do on mine i assume he means to downvote me with the @dtube account going forward. How he intends to make me into a minnow is still unclear to me.
Honestly, the childish threats of downvoting me (that have already started. He downvoted all my posts) i do not take too seriously. What i think should be more of interest to people are his comments after.
While these threats are probably just cries for attention from those that ignored him for so long, here he is basically threatening HIVE.
Any node that supports comments that share his death and rape threats, that share the screenshots of his DMs and talk about his disgusting behavior he will attempt to take down.
Conclusion:
I hope that all those that were maybe supportive of DTUBE before become aware of the disgusting behavior by its founder, the way he uses the dapp for his own personal drama and for that reason i hope they consider utilizing @threespeak (supported by @theycallmedan) instead of Dtube. While anyone is welcome to post on HIVE i do not think we should be supporting Heimindonger.
I have personally gotten into a short scrap with the main dev of 3speak, which was resolved fast with the help of Dan and Starkerz, and while i still dont personally agree with that dev, he has never threatened to kill me, stab me, cut my head off, rape me or molest me in any way over our disagreement..
While 3speak might not use BTFS or IPFS i know they are atm looking into a way to increase the decentralization of the video storage on 3speak.
We should support their efforts.
Lets not reward and give power to those that abuse their power.

I generally ignore him as there is typically nothing you can accomplish when dealing with such a person.
If something does go to legal, then Slack can be subpoena for the full logs. There are some really good ones I haven't shared as they are not my own interactions and many got wiped as Ned has the retention rules at 30 days by default.

That is an interesting point. In the event he brings suit, perhaps those that care for him might consider enabling protective custody due to his acts of self harm running a node broadcasting that tortuous harm he is petitioning the court to relieve.

Your grasp of decentralization seems very loose. Hive is not an attempt to impose authority. Rather the goal of Hive is to enable sovereignty. These principles are opposed.

The interest for Steemit/Hive is not an interest in either platforms, it is an interest in human behavior. It is fascinating.
I know Neoxian and enforcer were on Whaleshares way back with me. Id assume they see your attempts to bad mouth the current platform as being malicious since the Whaleshares fork has been a major dissapointment unlike HIVE so far.

I am aware whaleshares.io isn't for everyone. Replacing rewardpool and votes with a daily reward and tips takes away many of the earning models executed on Steemit and its clones. It also takes away the politics, the wars, the downvotes, the negativity. We turned the platform into a niche, a platform for people who value engagement.
And now you are going to tell me our coin has no value. But that is something we can change. Increasing coin value will be easier to do than turn your downvoting peeps into positive community oriented ones.
