OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1554th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

My Saturday Doing What I Like to do

Hello friends and Hivers. Yesterday I got out and went fishing. With everything that I have been going through it was something I really felt I needed. Not just for the fishing part but being out in nature itself. A place where I can hear various birds and and other sounds of nature. I ended up going to three different places.

I started my day outside by doing some spring cleaning in the garage. I didn't spend too much time doing that because the sun was bright and that was just drawing me to leave. I thought why waste day light cleaning I can do this when there is no sun. I didn't re-visit the garage later either, haha.

Reflections On Purposeful Growth.

In a decade from now, everyone on the blockchain and the people around us won't be the same person they are. One way or another, they will grow, and we won't be left out as well. Growth is inevitable; it happens whether we like it or not, and one of the proofs is that you aren't the same age as you were in 2020.

As humans, we have different aspects of our lives where we can experience growth and it doesn't have to be just about aging. I have always understood that self-growth extends far beyond physical aging; it involves our emotional well-being, our intellectual pursuits, our relationships, our spiritual connections and a lot more.

Cama mecedora para gato en carton./ Cardboard rocking bed for cats. Initiative

First of all I tell you that I found this initiative very funny, although I love to draw, but if I'm honest I don't get along very well with anything that involves scissors, but I decided to participate and here I tell you how I made my little cradle bed for my Garu, my smallest furry baby.

Quesillo de Calabaza || "Pumpkin Pudding 🍮

Step 2: Once we have the purée ready, it should be creamy, without any hard part, then proceed to make the caramel in the cheese maker, for this we must add the cup of sugar and bring to low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, and the syrup is formed, reserve, put to heat water in a pot where you are going to make the bain-marie.

"Creo en Ti" Julio Melgar / cover by @thonyt05

Tonight I want to share with you the instrumental of a very beautiful song called Creo en Ti, by the singer Julio Melgar. The truth is that it is a fairly old song but it is still a great musical theme, which is aimed at praise and worship of our almighty God.

Una restauración necesaria (3)// A necessary restoration (3)

Next, I started to paint the grates, the doors and everything that had oil paint, because later it would be easier to clean what got dirty, that also included the closet of the room, because it was painted a very dark brown color and I wanted to change the color to brighten the room.

Little by little, I painted everything that required oil, this took me several days, because I had to give several coats, at least to the closet, because a change of color to another requires them, of course, also exhausting, but seeing how everything is changing and coming to life, because the joy floods you and drives you to continue without rest.

Collection: One is not enough!

A rainy Saturday puts on halt my table varnishing project just as I'm about to sand the last coat. Bummer! On the positive side of life, the cloudy sky makes it nearly perfect to take photos of the pocket knives. Gotta rush though, because soon the sky's gonna fall upon me.

In the process of reuniting all the knives I discover that my fishing gear (reels) are in desperate need of cleaning/servicing, which will keep me entertained for the weekend {anxiety turns off}. Are you the type who needs to be occupied?

Achievements deserve to be celebrated …

Acquiring the habit of contemplating what we have done and congratulating ourselves, for that reason it is the simplest step to realize the great amount of things that we are capable of achieving.

Don't let anyone or anything tell you that you can't, because everything is possible... it depends on you!

Street model - monomad -eng/esp

Once the improvised catwalk was finished through the wide columned portal on the side of a hotel in Old Havana, it was time for individual photos for each model separately. It is like the deconstruction part by part of this wonderful triad that I had the pleasure of photographing. Fabiana proved to be much more expressive and flexible alone, projecting various facial expressions with each pose. If you don't notice it here, wait for later posts, because this session gave a lot of material worthy of Hive!

Preserving Flowers that Smell of Honey (Garlic Chive Blossoms)

I knew I needed to try this. For half a year now, I watered my garlic chive plants, knowing that they would shoot out their flowering stems soon. And now was the time. I have so many plants, true abundance. Throughout the years, I have saved so many seeds that I do not really know what I will do with it all. So, I did not worry about saving the seeds.
