and your chorus melody is gorgeous. I went on your bandcamp and listened to the studio version of the song too- the stuff you do with backing vocals is really impressive. I expected to hear it with drums and electric guitar for some reason - I got a really strong Evanescence-type vibe from your vocals and songwriting.
