Some people cry about censorship, then censor you for simply pointing out that something they posted is likely not true and asking how much they value truth in regard to such.
People are weird sometimes...
Many in the truth and freedom movements would be just as guilty or similarly guilty as the politicians and people in power that they despise so much if they were in similar positions of power.
It takes a really strong and rare soul from what I've seen in my life to have power over others and not abuse it.
If we really truly want a better world, it starts with us and going inwards and doing the hard difficult work of mastering our own selves so that we hopefully do not have the desire to try to be masters over others.
That's very true, we see this everyday with our bosses or people with uniforms.. the ego takes over and we know what happens.
Yep. Good point. When talking about this subject I often bring up how people very often abuse their power over their fellow workers as soon as they get promoted to being a manager at McDonald's or whichever place they work at... It's like they're one of the common folk until they get power and then it's a totally different game so to speak. Also, like you mentioned in regard to those with "uniforms" it's especially prevalent when it comes to law enforcement and politicians, etc...
Yes, under common law, nobody has authority over anybody else. Regardless of what role they are playing.
Oh? I'm not very familiar with common law. I know a little bit about it, but not much. Though, I do consider myself an anarchist or voluntarist and I believe that we can work together without a top down hierarchy sort of system.
I'm with you there, we should have a voluntary society.
