Millions around the world today we're thrilled to see the Rare event of blue blood moon eclipse.
I heard of blood moon before, blue moon and supermoon but this is the first time I am hearing about Super blue blood moon.
here is what I found about this phenomenon from https://www.aol.com and why it is called Super Blue Blood moon eclipse:
As a Blue Moon, the moon will be the second of two full moons slated to appear in January -- the first full moon will shine on the night of Jan. 1st. The Blue Moon will make its own appearance several weeks later on Jan. 31.
The moon will cap a series of three straight full moon supermoons, in which the full moon orbits close enough to Earth to become a supermoon.
The moon will also pass into the Earth's shadow, staging a total lunar eclipse, which is also why it has been dubbed a Blood Moon.

You have a much better view. It is cloudy here in Kentucky
I also heard that in the US it was during the daytime so not much to see, we were lucky in Dubai to see it after sunset.

The blood moon was visible from about 5-6AM in CA, so it was still dark. It was really cool looking, as was the lunar eclipse prior. If I hadn't been so groggy, I would've gotten my tripod and camera out. Whoops. Got a decent shot of the full moon tonight though...

They are some amazing photos @digdaga. I did not get to capture any photos unfortuantely, but I have quite a big interest in astronomy and space in general so I love seeing posts like this.
I read that the blood moon ( and the normal full moon ) actually creates an imbalance between a person's ears, which can lead to out of the ordinary behaviour. I'm honestly not sure how it works, but I found it quite interesting!
