Stop and Go

Last night I drove back to the city fro a few days. My parents graciously loaned a car to me but wondered why I had to go into the night. I said I had taken a long nap so I wasn't tired, and I didn't wanna waste beautiful sunny days in the car, and a third reason, there might be really beautiful scenery along the way after the sunset.

I think I drove all of 10 kilometres before I just had to stop and jump out of the car with my camera. Then I drove another 5 and had to stop again, and once more I stopped after that, before it got so dark that there wasn't anything taunting me to take pictures. The normal drive time is 1.5 hours, but I'm sure it took me 2.5 hours with all the stopping, and driving slow on places that I thought might have something to offer.

Shot with the Nikon D7200 and Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8.

The ultimate use for a vehicle, in my humble opinion, is to go after it. And after it you went!

I think freedom is the ultimate use for a car.

Totally worth the extra time. Sunset misty photos are just awesome!
