Shortly after the photos for the post "HDR vs HDR", which I posted a few days ago, I took these pictures just a few meters away. For each of the photos taken from slightly different locations, I shot an exposure series consisting of two photos: one photo each with exposure to the small waterfalls and the forest, and another photo with exposure to the bright sun. The two images I have then edited in Lightroom or Photoshop and blended them together.

Die Fotos habe ich kurz nach den Fotos für den Beitrag "HDR vs HDR", welchen ich vor ein paar Tagen gepostet habe, nur wenige Meter entfernt gemacht. Für jedes der Fotos, welche ich von etwas unterschiedlichen Standorten aufgenommen habe, habe ich eine Belichtungsreihe bestehend aus zwei Fotos geschossen: Jeweils ein Foto mit Belichtung auf die kleinen Wasserfälle und den Wald und ein weiteres Foto, welches auf die helle Sonne belichtet worden ist. Die beiden Bilder habe ich dann in Lightroom bzw Photoshop weiter bearbeitet und zusammengefügt bzw überblendet.

As soon as the sun rose a bit higher, the first visitors of the water grove arrived and I left the area and drove to my next photo spot.

Sobald die Sonne dann etwas höher gestiegen war, kamen schon die ersten weiteren Besucher des Wasserhains und ich verließ die Gegend und fuhr zu meinem nächsten Fotospot.

These are of course no HDR pictures, because I made a series of bracketing, but then only the sun has faded in. Das sind natürlich keine HDR Bilder, weil ich zwar eine Belichtungsreihe gemacht, aber dann eigentlich nur die Sonne eingeblendet habe. These images were somehow pure accidents, because I was there for the waterfalls, but when I was at this place the sun was shining so beautiful through the trees, that I had to give it a try and made two exposures, which I blended together at home.

Right, sometimes it is a real surprise, because I have not expected the sun there.
You can have a look at the weather forecast and expect a beautiful sunrise or sunset, but nature decides sometimes different from the weather forecast ... surprise 😉

I know, I am blessed to live here. You know Slovenia, but it has changed quite a lot in the past few years - they have done much for tourism and there are so many places to go now, of which we have had no idea when we were younger.
The only bad thing about it is, that there are crowds of people there now. If you want to be alone there, you have to go early in the morning, but you will be rewarded with beautiful empty places, quiet places which will give you a relaxing and peaceful time to enjoy the beauty ... for a while, until the first tourists awake 😉
