Hatta Lake And Kayak

in #photography6 years ago

I prepared another post from Dubai mountains. Maybe I'm wrong about borders so don't hold me for my words. It's kind of tricky. Here is a couple of Emirates one small area and you never know in which one you're at the moment because there is no visible border.
We drove through the mouintans and the road start climbing. After just a couple of narow courves uphil we hit the traffic jam.
Somethin special must be out there. In The Rocky mouintains in Alberta Canada it's a bear or some other animal to couse that kind of jam but not here in the midle of nowhere.

The Hatta lake

I'm sure their leaders deserve the special place in the hearts of their nation and also on the dam. I can't imagine the meanig of this masterpiece for them.

Of course the are some restrictions in place. Lakes are kind of rare here.

It looks nice and fresh on the photos but we had plus 38 degrees Celsius. After waiting 10 minutes in the line to get the ticket for the kayak and when they told us to wait another half an hour for the kayak we decided to pass the ride. We came from -10 from Canada and there is no shadow on the lake. We play safe. Oldtimers; I mean.

Almost like in Canada.

The rocks are cracking under the sun and high temperatures.

Back in the desert.

Stay tuned for more.

A traffic jam in the hills of Dubai can only mean one thing: a camel with a flat ... uuuuh ... hump? 😊

Or lake, hehe.

lepo je potovati po svetu in odkrivat cudovite kotičke sveta ;)

I imagine, it quite difficult to get water there, but I I saw on the picture there is a valley or what a name:

the hot weather with a temperature of 38 degrees, does require an atmosphere like that .. i do not know for sure the place you mentioned in dubai like the picture and canada.certainly the water in there is very difficult in can.. @oldtimer

Wow, beautiful scenery

via raw word and not perfect cool

incredible, successful always @oldtimer

the scenery is much in the likes of enthusiasts, with neat rocks, a clear water lake, beautiful scenery, it is amazing, anyone who visits, must be very happy, thank you for sharing, @oldtimer

Well it looks pretty great lake and liked the color of the water as well !

The pictures of their leaders does suits their place !

Well thanks for the tour buddy !

Rugged and beautiful terrain
Sensible staying out of the sun I come from NZ where the sun is extreme for the skin and was out in it to much when young hence far to many visits to dermatologist nowadays but good to catch the damage and remove it early

It's such a funny sight to see camels instead of let's say cows like here in Slovenia! (Here in central Slovenia is 18 degrees right now - perfect for me!)
Many greetings to sunny Dubai!

Wow this is unexpected. Some great shots of the lake and I love the desert rocks with camels at the end. I think it was wise not to kayak in the hot sun... water reflections would have increased your exposure.

Great places, my friend @oldtimer ! I envy you that you have been there! The trips make us happy.

This lake is out the world! Amazing photography you made!

This is so beautiful @oldtimer. That turquoise water looks like a painting. I’m a concept artist amongst other things and these photos and the surroundings are inspiring some awesome ideas for terrain. Thanks for sharing.

@oldtimer, I hope you are having a good time on your vacation. With that ambient temperature, it was the best decision. All the best for you and yours. Best regards.

They are some good shots it is a sham you can not go swiming ..

No Bikinis?!

A shame such beautiful place have such ugly laws...

You certainly captured some amazing scenes. Thank you for posting. Dubai is on my bucket list, and jumped a few spots higher because of you.

Beautifil photography

Shame about all those restrictions...looks fresh enough to jump in. Especially when it’s that hot.

Es hermoso el lago Hatta. No entendi porque señalaste que era "casi como Canada". Saludos desde Apure, Venezuela/Lake Hatta is beautiful. I did not understand why you pointed out that it was "almost like Canada". Greetings from Apure, Venezuela.

Wow! Amazing landscapes!

I have to visit this place :)
I live in Dubai for a long time and I am ashamed to say that I never visited this lake

Been wanting to go here but didn’t happen. Wish the winter will last longer so I still have the chance.
