Good Morning Everyone,
Sometimes you might hear Sri Lanka is in a food shortage. I have seen a lot of news regarding this topic in the reputed news agencies & youtube channels as well. I think most of the highlighted points are correct & we are under a food shortage. This occurred due to Corrupted Politics that dragged Sri Lanka into the Chinese Debt Trap.
The corrupted politicians and political parties with a set of corrupted government officers & lawmakers drag the entire nation into this Debt Trap. Three decades of war against terrorism also pulled us into those troubles & when we finished those struggles, the political influences worsen the situation.
By the way, due to the beauty, climate, culture, citizens & nature around, we can recommend Sri Lanka as the best place to live. But the corruption (especially political corruption) caused a lot of conflicts in the country. Then Covid19 crisis made the situation worst. I wish Sri Lankans will understand the value of their vote power against corruption & corrupted politicians next time.
I planted this "Rathu Thampala" known as "Red Amarenth" a few weeks ago & it seems to grow well. Leaves of this plant are using with Dhal Curry & it's delicious.
