MyPictureDay Challenge Round #37 - The port and the fog
After few weeks of pretty rainy weather with a few heavy storms finally got some more calm periods here. And few very very foggy days. The fog mostly comes from the sea, which is still warmer than the air temperature. And in the situation when weather is very calm almost without any wind, fog just can stay for all the day long or even maybe couple of days (which is still rare, but that is what happened in reality)
The main trick shooting the fog is its density. When is too much, you just cant see anything. When is less you need to use really long telephoto lens to compress the perspective and the fog to be actually visible on a photos. And that what was actually done.
All photos made almost from the same shooting position at the berth of Klaipeda port
