It's crazy when you go away for 10 days and you come back and your responsibilities ampliphy!
I have so much more to blog about Bali, but I've had to get straight back into working, so for now here is my latest test shoot! :)
I am photographing a family this evening and I was testing the light and certain locations to see how they come accross on camera.
This is the beautiful Mays, we had so much fun running around in nature! Apart from colour balance and sharpening these images are UNEDITED:
- The lighting angle and direction is the natural form of 'contrast' and 'saturation'
- The trees can act as 'flags' to strategically manipulate the light (block what isn't needed and let through what is)
- The sun, although harsh, can provide some epic lighting and catchlights! Experimentation recommended (if you really want to master natural light.... compare all the variables and keep doing it until it becomes second nature to you)
- Experiment with DOF and see how much of an impact it makes on your shot

And omg how have you not!!
It's my favourite place in Canberra
When you're up there, you can see all the cars driving past the road and literally view it as the 'rat race' that it is.... it's like having a birds eye vision into the western world
It's also massive so there are so many places to explore within
So serene and tranquil
Especially at sunset
