RE: POB STREET WITH @ONEALFA 27-09-21 #26

What's your take on plagiarism or fraud? Do you think it's existence, or the community's reluctance to police itself with prevent it from growing?

Topic from @scholaris.pob

A very good one from the boss and I want to also ship in some takes that plagrism is an act that the community is not friendly about at all and just as @chincoculbert said downvoting as indeed helps in reducing such act of recent and I think @spermintaor too is another thing that as really helped in stopping those involved in such act from still doing that till date too.

Let me open our mind to the fact that plagiarism doesn't only comes in content alone, some users do that with comments too, which is very bad ,but it is good to see that the rate of this act is now going down.if am not mistaken I come across a content on #pobtalk maybe yesterday where @scholaris.pob himself was putting a users to order that his comment is a plagiarism one too.

But I sincerely think the best thing we should all do is learning to come up with what belongs to us even thou it is not getting the needed attention, one day it will that is my believe

Yes. I agree with you. Those people who their posts are being stolen from came up with the post themselves, so why can't you?

It not always as hard as we think.

Yes, it just takes a little hardwork and consistency

That's right

Yes. That user is @profdanzy. He is also so inconsiderate that he won't respond directly to any comment I made. He replied to a post I wrote 2 months ago to apologize and he did it poorly. I couldn't understand anything. For the first time since I've been on Hive, I've not seen any other user more deserving of continuous downvotes. Not only did he ignore the warning and evidence, but he continued to plagiarize shortly after I downvoted him on more than one occasion.

He even plagiarized a part of an article I wrote when commenting on that very article.

The only person I'm aware of that curates for longer than I do is each day is @onealfa. He even curates for those he trusts into the night. And his curation days are as long as a normal workday if not longer. When he drops a comment it's worth something. He invests in that person and the comment they make. If that comment is fraudulent it looks bad on him and the rest of the community.

Curation takes a long time. And nothing is more frustrating than when you can't trust the words someone writes.

It's really not easy to create your personal content sir
I do try all my best not to plagarise and I have never done such foolish act before.
Downvoting is the best way to punish those who Plagiarise

You're not wrong. It's not easy to create personalized content. You have to work at it.

It's also not so easy to avoid plagiarism, but again, you have to work at it and give credit where credit is due.

Lol @houseofdavid no call me boss o, I just expressed my views.

Yeah you're right, some people just copy other people words and use it in the comments.

Yes... every author has to be original, people will end up accepting you for who you are
