Then you simply must! No just kidding. I think I need my creative brain to also join this challenge.

It would be great to see your contribution on it sometimes!
You make great dishes and would be great to have more people participating...

Right? This is the awesome thing about hive and these platforms. The collective colaberations. But now I need to find out if it is eggplant season in my country. I did not see any in the shop this morning.

I love hive for it!
I'm actually a bit away from the civilization and I don't go to the shop a lot. I think they still might have eggplants for a bit, but the ones that grew on my garden this year are gone as it got too cold.

I have never actually tried to grow it yet. I have so many plans for planting different crops but I seem to never find space in my garden. I need to make space! Do the eggplants grow easily? I have a love-hate relationship with plants that need extra care.

I get it! I also don't like to grow too many plants that a very needy.
Eggplants are easy to grow, I found it very similar to peppers. They need good soil, or some added nutritions like compost or animal manure. They also need enough water to develop the fruit and that's a bit tricky for me as we usually have draught seasons during their time. But other than that no special care needed. When they have good environment it will grow very fast and become a big plant and because the fruits are heavy and they need some kind of support.

It sounds relatively easy. We have droughts as well. I lost various berry bushes and tomatoes and other plants that need some water. That's why I stick to the hardy plants that require no love. The gooseberries, funny enough, survive the droughts and produce fruits. But their root system is incredible.
