The total solar energy captured was very close to previous months report, so it has been quite bright outside of lately. I think the days are starting to get shorter, so soon I think we will see the number drop. But for now I expect to stay over 3 Megawatt hours of production a month unless we have a bunch of storms. We are in a really bad drought right now, so it has been quite the opposite of that. I guess good for the solar panels but hard on everything else around here.

Thanks for the update. We have a guy a few miles away from us that has really built out a nice solar array for himself. I'm always a bit jealous when I drive by. It looks like he started small with just something on the roof of his shed, but then he went with full panels on metal framing.
Glad to share what is going on with our solar energy production. Ah nice, that is the cool thing about a proper solar setup. They are quite modular. So you can start with one string of panels and add more.
For array C I did that, started with two rows. And when I needed more power I added a third row.
That is cool. I'm probably going to end up starting with a small portable array I can use with our travel trailer, then when I have the money and get more familiar with it I will do something with our home.
Yep that is a great start. My first solar array was 1 panel and 1 battery. It just powered a water pump. Worked great for many years.
Those are pretty solid numbers! I'm still just dreaming of building my solar farm, as I have to save some money to buy land since I live in an apartment... 😞
Anyways, I'm following the numbers from a couple of you Hivers and Solar OGs... ;)
Thanks a lot, yeah man well one step at a time. Get the land first, pay it off. And then get started building fancy stuff on it. :-)
Yeah @steevc also produces reports, if there are any one else let me know.
I would say that these numbers are quite consistent, @solominer.
In Brazil, this type of energy is not yet very popular. However, it's gradually increasing.
Indeed, during this summer it has been very sunny and not much storms. So month to month it has indeed been quite stable.
Ah well hope it spreads out there more, I really like solar power. Hope more people use it.
Solar energy has immense potential, but in Brazil, it still needs to be better understood.
Wow, I have no idea solar can be used for something like this. I haven't seen or heard about it( still now). This is cool. ☺️
Yep, with a big enough setup you can power just about anything.
That's cool.
You do get very conscious of the weather and day length when you have solar. You see the variation over the year, but just have to make the most of what you get.
Yeah those seasons really show up on the data. Curious to see if October is again our anomaly month and produce the most power for the year.
So true, my routine has been focused on checking the forecast and planning accordingly for array-c since its completely off grid. Otherwise I run down the batteries too much.
It must be very satisfying to be able to produce your own energy. I would certainly have a great sense of peace knowing that, in a way, I could be independent, especially in a world where everything depends on energy to function
Sure is nice having the ability to produce my own power. Though it has come with a lot of work building it all out. Hopefully it stays up for many years without much issue.
I have seen Solar energy being mentioned more and more this year, and local houses have started installing some. I have also heard recently that the UK is legalising portable plug-in solar panels. Furthermore, I think they will be a nice addition for those who can't quite fork out for the standard ones.
Solid numbers, as always. Great post. Always an interesting read, not only from you but from others on the chain who have invested in Solar Energy.
Do you think it is a good investment?
As a short term investment, no. As a long term investment, yes.
You need to think at least 10 years.

Good to see this update. The best use case for solar energy, and it is also environmentally friendly.
Thank you, indeed. Being as sustainable as possible.
Congratulations for a good month 😃😃
Wish those data remain same or increase only 😃😃
Much appreciated.. Hopefully we will see some good numbers next month too.
Yuppp… have a good day 😃🙏
