Solos Solar Array production stats - October 2025

in #solar24 days ago

Once again October sets a record for the most solar power produced. Array-C produced quite a bit of power this month, as I have been running two ASIC Bitcoin miners on it and using excess solar power during the day. Though it would seem October is just a sunny month here in general, as last year October was also my most productive month.

Once I complete a month of mining, I will also post my earnings from that as well. But I have only been mining for about two weeks now. So next month I should have a report of my solar powered mining earnings. So far its been close to $50 so I expect over a $100 a month in earnings, depending on network hashrate, difficulty and current bitcoin price. Hard to say for sure though, as if the winter produces very little PV I may only be able to run one miner vs two I can do during the spring/summer/autumn.

In the month of October we produced 1913.7 kWh (1.91 Mwh) on the farm. A new record for solar production!

You crushed my results this time, only had 1.32MWh.

This was a really good month on the farm, I think a lot of it had to do with the demand from array-C with my two bitcoin miners. Previous months I did not have them all setup yet. So now all the PV is going to use.

Hopefully you will make more when spring comes around again. Should be slowing down for us soon.

Wao sir good to see you are mining btc by solar

Thank you for sharing the solar panel models you use. They are very sophisticated there, utilizing solar panels, a renewable energy that has a positive impact on electricity needs.

In our area, this innovation is not widely used, perhaps due to funding constraints...

We utilize government-subsidized electricity. In my area, hydroelectric power (waterfalls) is also being developed, and some areas are currently using coal.

No problem, glad to share my reports.

Oh that is interesting you use hydro power. If I had access to sloped water I would do that.

Nice! Congratulations on a new personal best! I hope that suns keeps shining and those long gray winter seeks don't come anytime soon. I remember weeks of nothing but gray back in the winter in Philadelphia, I don't sure don't miss those days. Enjoy the leaves and keep mining those Sathoshis as long as the daylight allows!

October has not been that great for me in solar, but at least I am generating something. Now the days are getting a lot shorter I'll get less, but my system is set up to save me money all year. Good to see you are doing so well.

Ah yeah it should be all down hill from here until spring next year.

Thanks, yeah its all working out quite well with all my solar stuff.

No kidding! If you didn't have the numbers to prove it I never would have guessed that October would be the best month!

Hah yeah that was quite unexpected, but seems this is now the second time that has happened so there must be something to it besides using more power with the ASICs.

Yeah, definitely more than just a fluke at this point!

It's cool to be able to use solar energy for mining. For me, since I live in an apartment, there's no way I could even try to do something like that, haha.

Yeah its been a fun experiment. That is true, the noise and the power usage may be a issue for you in a apartment.
