It has been a little more overcast last month, so we had a drop in solar production but that is to be expected as well as the days are becoming shorter. Now the evenings are getting darker earlier in the day. But still producing lots of power, with over 2.7 Megawatt hours even in the autumn season.
In the month of September we produced 2773 kWh (2.73 Mwh) on the farm.
Using excess solar power the farm mined 0.00133658 Bitcoin valued at $111.04 based on the current Bitcoin price of $83,082
Mining hardware: 2x Bitmain Antminer S21 Pros running at 7800 watts. Cooled using AC Infinity inline fans.

Do you know how many kWh went into the mining? Is it running all the time? The numbers are good anyway, but I'm seeing the drop now too as the days get shorter.
Depends on how sunny the day is, but around 60-90kwh.
Even with the shorter days and overcast weather, pulling in over two megawatt hours is still pretty solid. Array C really carried its weight with zero grid import for the month.
Indeed it is still quite a lot. Array C is fully off grid.
Whats your APR on these? Combo of Miners/panels.

Not sure.. I dont think I keep track of that.
There were some deals on Jackery portable units during Amazon Big Deal Days, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on one of them!

STOPJust waiting for the day when this type of energy becomes more affordable (financially speaking) here in Brazil.
Why isn't it commmon practice to put mobility to the panels?
They would make more power if they track the sun?

Mehnnn
Ain't even gonna lie, I love your whole homing setup and with each update I love it even more😭😂❤️
I would definitely try to replicate this when I get my own house in my later years..
A 2.7 is a high achievement, considering the overcast weather. That’s an impressive result.
Amazing! 🌞 Harnessing excess solar energy to mine Bitcoin is a smart way to optimize renewable energy. ⚡₿
Thanks 💐
nice! that certainly is a lot!! More than us for sure. lol
We still ahve yet to use any grid power at all since ours went in in July/ Have run close a few days with battery at 25% i think was the lowest we got, but not actually run out.
its heating up here and we are getting between 60 annd 70kwh a day generation from the main system. Unfortunately this only counts the main array, and the secondary (older) one is not counted. (i need to get the solar people back out to see if they can get both systems in the same "stats" system.) we only know what the main system does rather than combined. so annoying.
