@kafkanarchy84, a flag is not a debate. You are living in a paradox. You are a Democrat. You say one thing but you do a different thing all together.

Wrong. Boycotting a store or merchant is not a vote in the same way that voting for a political candidate is. I am expressing a market preference for not being scammed by jealous losers that don't want to treat their fellow humans as such. How am I a democrat for pointing out the fly in the soup?

Have fun with your religion. You are doing the same thing he or she is doing. You are telling people what to do. They are telling people what to do too. But you think you are better because you believe you are right and the others are wrong. But those people think you are wrong. You are not tolerant and you do not care that others disagree with you.
.
You say you care and you say you are opened to debate but then you downvote and stuff which does the opposite of debate. You discourage people from debating with you when you flag them. The flag is like a punch in the face. You tell people to debate but then when they say something you do not like, then like the left, like the mafia, you punch them in the face through the system of flagging.

"Punch in the face?" Have you read the white paper. Do you understand the platform??? Get outta here.

I believe in the freedom of speech. Kathy Griffin held the head of a USA President. In NYC, they murdered the president every night in a play. Snoop Dog shot the President. I described an action that you did. And you said that I did what you did. I was telling you what you did when you flagged people. I described an analogy. I described an illustration. You told me to get out of here. You are telling people what to do like a bully. You act like a bully like the left. People say that people can do all of these things and say many things. I said something that was meant to describe the situation. You take what I said out of context. That is too bad for you.

So...in essence, you are free to say what you like, but not me, because when I do it, I'm a bully.

Inane.

I did not say you are a bully. I said you were "LIKE" a bully. There is a difference. I could be right. However, it is my opinion. I have my reasons, my opinions, for why I said it. There is evidence for why I called you a bully. Maybe I said you are a bully. Maybe I said you were LIKE a bully. You can see a contrast between what you say and what I say.
.
I say things differently than how you say things. What makes somebody a bully is in the actions. Flagging is an action. I am not flagging people. You are flagging people. That is the contrast or comparison. People can see the difference not only in the words but in the actions. You are clicking on the flag button and you are placing judgment on people. You can do it. I can also tell you how that makes ME feel. What I say does not have to be true. But that does not mean that you did not do what you did. You could say you do good things. You can say the flagging is a good action. Maybe they are good actions. I said you were like a bully for that action which might be good or bad. In my opinion, flagging can sometimes be a bad action. I want to have the freedom to have that opinion. You laughed or mocked my opinion. You said in your last comment that I am crazy for having an opinion.
.
You are basically saying I am the bully or bad person because I think you are a bully or like a bully or whatever. You can say that and think that if you want. That does not mean I am wrong. I might be right. I might be wrong. But I think I am right. You can laugh at my opinions, but my opinions are still my opinions regardless of what you may or may not do or don't do and regardless of what you say or don't say. Thanks. Joey Arnold Oatmeal.

We have both debated nicely with LOTS of people.
Most people stay civil even when we disagree.

Did you read the post by i-repost?
I'm confused why you think flagging that would be innappropriate.
We don't flag people who want to debate.

I flagged someone once who called me a "satanist." noganoo put my name in the title of his rant and his first tag was "satanist".
That is an appropriate flag.
And so is flagging someone who calls you a retard in his post and tells people to scam you by lying to you and pretending to have an injured child.

Whaaaaaaat?!!!!!

I will not flag people no matter what they call me. Because once you go down that path of flagging, it takes you down the path of the dark side. It becomes maybe too subjective. Especially because I do not want to flag people for something that I might do myself. But regardless of whether I do or wrong or a right thing, some people think they can determine whether what I did was right or wrong through their subjective emotions that are blind to objective reality.
.
You have the freedom to flag for any reason on Steemit maybe. I mean, there are different reasons why people flag other people.
.
But I am not going to say that flagging is or is not a good or bad thing. I think it is not that simple to describe and everything....
.
If you are emotionally affected by an insult, then you can seek revenge or justice or whatever you want to call it regardless of what it may or may not really or actually be.........
.
I did not flag people on Steemit yet......
.
You can flag people whenever you want........
.
But this is a very subjective practice........ because an insult is not always a bad thing..... sometimes, people say things to help you see the truth...... an insult is not always an insult...... but we can become too emotional and affected in a too personal way that blinds us from eternal perspective..........

Let he or she who is without sin cast the first stone or flag......... let the perfect person flag the not perfect people........... I am not perfect and I am bias and I make mistakes and I do wrong things...... I want to reward people for doing good.....

without sin

This is a stake-weighted voting platform man. Not a church.
