This week's share your battle challenge involves using a card from the fire splinter.
This card is able to infiltrate through your rival's defenses, while dealing a considerable amount of damage.
A stealthy or sneaky card from the fire splinter
Let's jump right into it!
Theme: Serpentine Spy
The Serpentine Spy is a common card from the untamed edition.
It is perhaps one of the best untamed cards for the fire splinter if we take into account the return that you're getting for it.
You can get it currently for 0.12 $.
Normally common cards aren't that expensive
This price is justified though, the Serpentine Spy is one of the most formidable cards , because
- The cost of 3 Mana, very low
- Starts with great stats, namely 2 Melee attack and decent speed
- The Opportunity ability: Usable on every ruleset
This more than compensates the low amount of hitpoints
Where to use
The most important thing is to not put the Spy on the first place
Cards with opportunity can pretty much be used on every ruleset
The Spy only has 1 hitpoint and costs 3 mana, thus the best ruleset for it are:
- Equalizer
- Little League
The Battle
This Battle involves the equalizer and super sneak ruleset
One important rule of the Equalizer ruleset is that the highest base health of every monster is used as base health for everyone.
I thought it was only my team!
I ended up boosting my rival big time by bringing a card with 12 base health
Even though my cards were more powerful, that boost made it way harder for me.
The ruleset of super sneak also played an important role in this battle.
My Lineup
- Molten Ogre, the demoralize ability comes in handy. On first place to avoid the full force of sneak attacks
- Furious Chicken: A card with 0 mana. Could've been at fourth though
- Exploding Dwarf: The hardest hitting card, must be in the middle
- Serpentine Spy: With the opportunity ability and strong attack, should not be at first or last.
- Cocatrice: Perfect for rulesets like super sneak and melee mayhem. Cards with flying are good for dodging
My rival's cerberus became a massive tank with the ability to heal 4 damage
The fact that my cards were stronger became an obvious advantage and I was to pierce through my rivals defense from behind.
Other Battles
I also used the Spy for my Spark Pixies challenge.
Here you can see another example of the Spy being used to wipe my out rival's weakest cards.
See you in the Battlefield!
