Ok. So I'm about to preach to the choir here, since most of you on here are already anti-establishment, anti-elite nutcases :)
I know it, you know it, most people kind of feel it, even if they don't want to admit it - that when it comes to issues of money and the global financial system, they're powerless and totally outclassed by the top 1%.
So here we are, I'm going to say it.
The system is rigged!
This is just one of the examples that have affected me directly lately - there are several. This has annoyed me a little in the past couple of days.
We've had a bit of a crypto nosedive, including here on Steem, so yours truly was trying to capitalise by "buying the dip".
A couple of months a go, I set up three different fiat-to-crypto pipelines to get funds in and out relatively quickly and efficiently. I made sure all the required KYC was done, and there would be next to nothing to get in my way when the time did come.
Well, the time came yesterday. I tried to get some fiat into crypto because I was feeling quite confident that we would see a mini pump by Christmas. Guess what? Yep, you got it.
One after the other, new obstacles had been inserted into my pipelines to slow down or stop the movement of money to crypto entirely. The aim I think is to frustrate me to the point where I just give up.
Some of my KYC had apparently 'failed'. Bank accounts had changed. Company names had changed. New volume limits had been implemented. Daily allowances, blah blah blah.
Oh yeah, in case that email went to your spam folder, we have new fees for smaller trades now, and we need to hold your deposits for five business days or more, depending. Sorry if that's all the cash you've got.
Ok. So lets try these (apparently) disruptive app methods then. Those apps that claimed to bypass the establishment. Revolut, Wirex and what not.
Hey look! New app required! Password expired. Oops, sorry your phone needs a new OS before you can use the new app. Oooooops, your account needs to be verified again. Ah, you need to login on a computer. Ah. Sorry, now you need to confirm your debit card by waiting for a statement to arrive that will include the 4 digit code to type in. Woopsie. Sorry.
Meanwhile the crypto I was eyeing is already up 10%. Steem is up 7%!
What do you imagine a multi billionaire's experience would be like in contrast to mine?
Agent: "Sir, we've manipulated the crypto price to the desired point, shall we buy?"
Billionaire: "yes"
Agent: click. click. "Done. I will dump when your profit reaches $10 million. Enjoy your golfing holiday sir, hope the weather is great in the Bahamas".
Sucks to be the little guy eh?
Is this all happening in my head or are other people having issues too?
Peace and Love ✌🏿

Well established structures failure the 1% basically everything favours them. Might be shocked that is said nosedive of crypto favours some parties--well it should (if one is losing, another is gaining).
The restrictions are so right here, grateful for that. At this point I'm not even thinking about buying crypto. I will leave that for 2020. But it was really tempting yesterday. If I wasn't going to camp next week would have bought some steem
Maybe the universe was helping me out. Perhaps it will dip lower next week :)
The entire process just to purchase some Steem is an example of convolution. I have always said that this is why Steem, and other cryptos, will never hit the mainstream. People are not going to jump through a bunch of hoops to buy something or to make trades.
Hopefully it all gets ironed out soon. You're right, people will follow the path of least resistance.
The whole system is meticulously stablished and regulated so the general public stay the hell away from crypto, it's even better if people do not understand what crypto is and how it functions as a protection against the robbery being done by the state/banking system. The harder the better, that's how they plan to fight us, because they know they can't kill cryptos.
It's the modern version of the 30's crisis when people run to the banks to withdraw their gold; difficulties, excuses and desperation... until finally they decided that owning gold would be a crime.
There should be some p2p markets with high credibility so we could bypass all this non sense bureaucracy, a complete free market where we can buy/sell cryptos according to our own prices.
We live in hope. They won't give up without a fight, that's for sure :)
I joined crypto for the idea, the revolution of it. Purposely self naive, as small hopes and faiths must find homes. But the more i hang about observing and participating... the more ‘rigged’ i recognize it.
Guess I need to start looking for some new snake oil to pray on... or for them to prey on me. 🤣🥴

Hahaha. Yeah. I wonder what the new thing is. Don't worry, we'll hear about it in about a year when we're a bit too late. Hahah
Yes! Every time I want to do something, they change the rules on me. Pfft! Good luck!
!tip
Hahaha. They keep moving the goalpost :)
And changing all the rules!!! LOL
I saw you had issues with Wirex. Can you use it via the web? I find that less fiddly than doing stuff on my phone. I used it just this week to power up.
BTW choir, not coir
My spelling sucks :)
The website threw me into some password reset loop. :/
Very frustrating when you just want to move your money around.
Good to have you share this once again. Your posts are always good to read.
