I expect everyone who works for Steemit.com to come attack this post :) In Ny we call that the okey doke. You will confirm just by the defense. Tell us how you are cashing out or sit down.

Don't be so negative, dear. Just because you can't get your payouts, it doesn't mean steem backed dollars and steem isn't true. I believe you just joined the community and here you are already ranting about how this platform is a lie. I was able to cash out 3 months after I joined and asked a lot of people. Just because 2 or 3 people didn't help you, you should generalize every steemian and call this pyramid scheme. You should also figure out your way here. It'll be very satisfying.

P.S. I didn't join steemit for the money, too. It's just for writing. And now I'm drawing, too. My payouts is just one of the benefits. If what you want really is to have fun from the start, then, take it easy and don't conclude. Why bother cashing out money if you don't need it? Create a contest and give away your SBD as prizes. You don't know the community, yet so don't judge.

you are doing the most

Wow. This is what I get for helping. Thank you so much. And for the record, I'm not an employee of steemit. How I wish I'm working already! I'm just a regular student who loves to write. Let's see where your conspiracy theory brings you. I'm rolling on the floor laughing. I've never encountered someone like you in this platform.

then why argue? mute me and keep it moving sir. :)

I'm a woman. That kinda hurt. I argue because I'm not a fake. I could even chat you in other social media right now to prove it.

Steem is a great platform (blocktrades..meh.) Bitconnect is a scam. I have personally used some of my Steem earnings to get some Bitcoin (but I made mistake of using Blocktrades...) I don't know how to cash out otherwise. I have heard Bittrex was good, but I am not too keen on sending my ID and the like floating around the Internet. So, for me, Blocktrade's high ass fee is almost worth keeping things simple.
What I had to do for Blocktrades was tell them how much SBD I wanted to give them, and what I wanted in return (Bitcoin), then I furnished a deposit address, made the trade and they sent BTC within a few minutes. I worked great, but I don't know how to turn in to Fiat after that. LocalBitcoins website, maybe?

I hope things improve for you. It would be sad to see you leave. All the same, take care with whatever you do!

Still not advising on how to get your funds transferred into USD. You are still talking about bitcoin. ... letting it sit on another website. Tell us how to cash into USD? You cant.

LocalBitcoins dot com will facilitate a trade of BTC/Crypto for Fiat, either into your bank account or via Western Union.. You could sell the Bitcoin on Craigslist to a local buyer. or You can use BTC to buy something on OVerstock.com and then resell the item for Cash. There are plenty of ways to cashout and remain semi-anonymous. I don't know about any of the regular exchanges. i don't use them. I have a paper wallet that I consider more as savings.

so...if you ARE really considering leaving...what could I do to convince you to transfer your steem/SBD/Steempower to my account? You don't wanna just let it sit in cyberspace collecting digital rot...lol. /sar

You can send me the funds USD equivalent to the current steem/ steem power I have through paypal. Lol @ just let it sit...there is nothing there...

hehe, it's in Cyberspace! It could become victim to digital rot! what then? all that lost money. A tragedy, a real shame.

damn, I don't use pay pal, or most traditional banking services. I'm Ghosted in the credit/banking system, and it's wonderful.

there is no money. its an illusion. just like this website.

All money is an illusion!!!
Usd are printed from thin air by a group of power drunk psychopaths... and even more, most of the usd being used or moved are also just numbers on their screens without the decentralization that crypto offers... so... everything is just about choosing wich one we trust and give power too... like here money requires our trust or it vanishes...

I've had a lot of fun here and made some good money. I've been spending some of it lately. I have a debit card from Bitwala that I can fund with Bitcoin. There are others depending on where you are in the world. Blocktrades or Changelly can convert Steem to Bitcoin. I've bought a few things with those funds, so how is that a lie?

So I am suppose to give more people my social because they promise to send a pre paid card? All "bank" cards are centralized so this is another lie.

Is your choice. Money that most accept is centralised. There's limited options to spend crypto, but it's possible

Hi. I use http://bittrex.com in selling or trading my SBDs and STEEMs. I transfer it to my personal account after trading it for bitcoins from there. I had a problem before not receiving my sbd transfer from steemit but it was because I put a wrong memo for my transfer. I sent them an email and it was fixed within 3-5 working days, if I'm not mistaken. What happened with your transactions?

They don't have any bank account info, debit card or paypal on file to cash out. Simple. It cant be done. Not with the websites I mentioned.

Then, use other financial services platform that receive bitcoin. Maybe, you can't directly transfer it to those that's why you're having a hard time. I use https://coins.ph here in the Philippines and from there I can transfer my payouts to bank accounts, debit card and even paypal. I'm not sure about what your country use, though.

I also had a problem with my registration in coins.ph before. I just sent them a proper email of inquiry on why was my identification invalidated and what should I do about it. Talk to them first. Calmly. What if they have to validate your information in 5-working-days first? Or what if you sent them an unclear ID? Ask them. If it's still not working, then look for other platforms. You didn't really pay for the registration, right? You just submitted IDs.

If you wanna cash out, you can google tutorials. Just be resourceful. Here are some examples:

This was a very kind generous and informative reply. The very best kind of response the Steemit community can ask for. Gives me faith, thanks.

confirmed.

Thank you @windrockswater. I hope I really could help.

Thanks for plugging more Steemit pages but you are not in the US and you could be part of the identity theft. There is NO WAY to cash out Steem into USD. Show us a website OTHER than Steemit explaining how to cash out STEEM.

Why would you believe other websites telling how to cash out STEEM more than your fellow steemians if they don't even know this platform? Remember, this site is a beta project only and by definition

"Beta test is the second phase of software testing in which a sampling of the intended audience tries the product out."

This platform isn't even final so make the most out of it and just try. You're not even losing anything. And if you say it's time and effort, nobody's asking you to spend your time here. It's your choice because you want to have fun, right?

I was only trying to help. If you don't believe me, fine. Ask for help from the people from US, then. I hope they help you unlike those MANY bitconnect "experts".

And please don't blame the people around you just because you can't successfully cash out your payouts. I don't know what your problem is about in following the instructions of other steemians in their "How-to's". You know you can always try transferring 0.001 SBD and if it fails, at least you didn't loose all, right? Have a great day, miss!

doing the most but once I leave Steemit ...it doesnt exist. good luck !

Once you leave steemit, the platform will still exist. It's just you who'll be stagnant in this platform.
