The 'Push People'-initiative.
This project was born due to a simple idea. I asked myself, "would it be possible to create minnows in a rapid way, to ultimately empower the entire platform?" - The platform's response was incredible and we've already pushed 11 people in total.
However, due to the amazing success we've had, and due to my current situation, I'm no longer in a position where I'm able to search this entire platform for good, eligible candidates to push. Another deciding factor for these changes was the fact that I might have looked biased in my selection, as I picked people based on my own opinion and feelings.
I never received any complaints, and even though everyone seemed to have been perfectly fine with my decisions, it would feel better and more "professional", if the candidates were picked without my personal opinion as the decision maker. This is why some changes have been made, but before going into that, I want to share some more details about this project.

Like stated above, this "minnow-making"-project was brought to life due to the incredible response from my audience. As I have been working hard for a long period of time to support, inspire, encourage and motivate others around me, I was looking for something new to do more. I was looking for something new, fresh and cool. I was looking for something that never had been done before, at least not in the same way as I had in mind.
My goal was to create something that would operate with generosity as the driving factor. I truly believe that one simple act of kindness can create an endless ripple, so I wanted something that would be based on the 'pay it forward' mentality.
Take a look at the image above. This is the concept behind it all. In a nutshell, I brought the idea to Steemit. One small act of kindness. I paved the way, and others followed suit. Being involved in a push creates a ripple effect. Not only can I feel good about doing something for someone else, I also benefit by doing that in many different ways. At least in theory.
The only thing missing in the image above is more arrows pointing in my direction. This is a sure way to rapidly grow more users which ultimately leads to a bigger, stronger and more engaging platform, that everyone benefits from!
I know that some people look at this as pure charity, and everyone is entitled to their opinions but this is not like any other "charity events" you've seen. This is the fastest, easiest and most selfless approach to create our first real middle class on Steemit.
Requirements & Application Process
We only push active people who are dedicated and spam-free. The users we push must have less than 500 Steem Power, but preferably more than 450. We will not push people who're in the middle of a power down as that will be contradictory to our entire purpose. Reputation score doesn't matter, but people who're repeatedly getting flags will not be eligible for a community push.

As of now, there are two ways to apply for a community push. You can leave a comment in any of my future articles (including this), stating that you apply for a Community Push or contact me on Discord (ID: EviLDoLLTV#9035).

Note: I will write a new post each week, with one or more users to push, (one per week during this initial stage). I reserve the right to ban or disqualify users if and when someone doesn't comply to- or fails to meet the given requirements and rules. Also, as this is based upon peoples ability, and willingness to help fellow Steemians, there are no guarantees for a successful push.
As I mentioned in your other post, @hitmeasap, shifting to an application process is a great idea.

Give it a bit more time. Lots of changes worldwide, personally and collectively, so many shifts are underway and even more distractions abound.
Programs like this often receive excess applications for the spaces available so I feel it's just for word of this change to get out enough. When peeps realize they can now take things in to their own hands by applying and stating their own case, they'll jump on this wonderful opportunity.
In the meantime, enjoy the lull, increased me-time, and invest some of it to listening within and hearing guidance on how best to reorganize as you shift your own course.

It's definitely a matter of time. We've already had 17 resteems on this article, and we'll grow bigger with time. I think it's a great idea, and I love to see what we've been able to do so far.

I hope people will notice this too. I think it's necessary with some sort of application-process. It will save me time, but it should, (hopefully) also bring in more people than ever before!

Yeah, I hope it works out well. We're already at 15 resteems (at the time I'm writing this), so I hope it will reach potential candidates.

One of the best feelings in life, for me, is when I can make a difference for someone, in some way. It's literally impossible to describe how good it feels... It's amazing!
I want to have an impact. I want to make a difference. It makes me feel good about myself, and it means something for the ones I help. It's a wonderful feeling and I try to implement, adapt and approach Steemit with that as one of my primary goals. Just like I do in real life.

I'm sorry but with 22 steem, you don't meet the requirements for a community push.
This is a great project that you have undertake.
I have to reach 450 SP to be eligible... That's a long way, but i'm sure I will make it. Thank you for supporting the Steemit community :D

Hello,I want to apply for a community push.My SP is way below 500,so it would be better if I could get a push.
Ever since joining steemit,I only created quality content.I post my original work including stories,fiction,novels and articles etc. in steemit. Please,take a look at my posts and see how hard I am working to go forward in this platform.
I used to run out of RC time to time.Then some people came forward and delegated me 100SP for 4 weeks.But it won't last forever.So lately,I have become so worried about it.
I believe if you take a look at my post then you can get a better idea that whether I deserve this push or not.

You joined Steemit in August this year and you have a total of 18 Steem Power at the time I'm writing this, so you don't qualify for a community push. We will push people who have 450+ Steem Power, and less than 500. So you have a long way to go. But, you will get there eventually and I wish you the best of luck.

I love the new approach. @yogajill's comment had made me think that it might also be a good idea to encourage those that are getting closer to the criteria to drop in a comment saying as much, so that people can check them out and choose to support them to reach that mark sooner. Even if it's just a few votes dropped on their comment.

I think you have misunderstood the purpose of this project. Perhaps I should've been more clear in my description. This is not about delegations. In a nutshell, this is about donations. We give away Steem/SBD/Steem Power to certain users, to push them into minnowhood, and to build a stronger platform.
As you don't meet the requirements, you're not eligible for a community push at this time. However, you'll get there eventually, so I wish you the best of luck!
