I was just thinking how cool it could be if Steemit could somehow be integrated into everyday, real life. What would this mean?
- Did you take the time to make a fresh pot of coffee for everyone? Your co-workers could upvote you. "Good job Neo!"
- Are you on the highway and you made room for someone trying to change lanes? They can upvote you! Maybe your car has a steemit account. @mycar-licensenum
- Eating out at a restaurant? If the waiter gives you good service, upvote him! If he is rude to you, flag that guy!
- Heck, a big whale going to a restaurant could probably get a free meal just by upvoting the whole place.
Yea..that would be totally pimp, let's get this thing going....

come to think about it though.. Steemit just made it more possible to go the step of a Nosedive society.
And if that comes true im gonna so freaking growth-hack it!!
We are already headed to the system we see in Nosedive. It's just a matter of time until our online social media is translated to our offline world.

Change begin from small steps if we could all take this a step forward that would be an amazing thing happened till now.
It's not necessary that you need to be upvoted for everything you do in real life

Tips or something.....I don't want to see my feed fill up with this kind of stuff, but yeah, showing some steemit appreciation might be cool.
One thing I want to do more of when I have more to give is just throw money people's way when they are decent people or when I think they don't get enough love.

That would be pretty cool if we did have some sort of steemit augmented reality.
We can click on someone on the street go to their profile or just purely rate them on their behaviour towards you or anyone else.

That’s a great idea! I’m already integrating Steem into my flash fiction stories, so why not take it a step further?

There is a point, but we can integrate a little bit differently. With the inclusion of a platform advertisement in daily activities (Making fresh coffee to your coworkers in steemit cups, riding a car with steemit sign, give a tip to a waiter with a steemit business card or develop a media campaign designed to educate the public about steemit platform).
@neoxian, I like the idea overall, but I hope that an everyday Steemit style reward system would be a complement/supplement to our existing social structure versus a replacement.
We need to make sure that people are taught and equipped to communicate needs, hurts, emotions, joys, and victories with other people, not just online but face-to-face.
Adding a Steemit reward system to everyday life without the ability to comment and communicate with others could be dangerous if misused. And unfortunately, I have seen too many people misuse systems that were meant for good.
This sounds good. If this platform could make me earnings for living, I'll spread the story of Steemit all time on every place. I would make t-shirts, put logo on my car, make bunch of websites to propagate it and more other stuff.
I am wondering how would that be applied in real life. Should we implant a chip on our thumb so that we could do it real time.
because now we still have to type that all and then share it to the whole steemit world.

I love this idea. The trick is to make it as frictionless as possible. What about Steem specific QR-Codes and a tipping-applet for mobile that basically lives in your phone's notification panel?
I thought more about this. We could use Bluetooth low-power beacons for another quick recognition method - mostly for restaurants etc.
We could do a "scan" and tip in one movement so that the user can capture an image and then the code scanning and tipping works in the background. Make it reliable enough that the user can click their camera shutter and then put their phone away knowing that the job will be done.

For me, Steemit is kinda unified with my everyday life now. Even a tiny rain drops I share, I don't care if it gets noticed or not. I just feel like it's worth sharing, just like you said "how cool". Cheers.

We could create an account linked to an institution and this institution creates the posts informing of the news.

Daily life and the world is the blockchain...real crazy matrix stuff. I upvote blue Honda for yielding and I flag the bastard that was riding my ass. In n out burger was especially delicious so I upvote the store and all the employees receive a piece of the sweet Steem pie

That's hilarious. I guess we'd need a SteemIt QR Code for our accounts, then just use the QR Code reader on your cell phone (if you've got a smart phone, that is).
Those are really cool ideas and would make people be a lot nicer in real life.
