Not being a tech boffin, I have no idea how to do any of this stuff or even if it would actually work. Very possibly there is a chat area filled with people discussing these sorts of thoughts. But what the hell, here is my two cents worth. (I mean that figuratively, being well aware that I’m a complete tech numpty, and this post may well pull in a great deal less than two cents)
1. Sort out that bloody reblogging thing (resteeming)
What a pain in the arse, it’s totally buggered up my feed. I’d like to see it in a separate tab. Alongside “trending” or “new”, a tab called “resteemed” so I could click on it if I wanted to, and my feed would just be the posts from the people I’m actually following.
And if I resteemed something myself, I’d like that in a separate tab from my own posts too. Alongside “comments” and “replies” it might be called “favourites” (but because Steemit uses American English, I guess that would have to be “favorites”) Then I could use it like a bookmarking feature to save pages I wanted to be able to find again later.
2. A sort order for followed and followers
There are two main things I want to do with these lists. Firstly, to see who my new followers are so I can check them out and see if I want to follow them back. To do this I want to be able to sort by new and have the newest followers at the top.
And secondly, to find specific people I’ve followed and see their posts. So I’d like “sort by alphabetical”. At the moment the lists seem to be in a random but fixed order, one that is neither newest nor alphabetical, so more in the spectrum of just unhelpful.
3. Bookmarking
As I mentioned above when I said resteeming could be used like bookmarking, a feature I’d really like to see is a way to bookmark my favourite pages. Generally I use either Pinterest (but Pinterest doesn’t work on Steemit due to there being no actual images stored within the posts) or Xmarks, which does work but it doesn’t save images like Pinterest does.
Images are the main thing I want to see in my bookmarks because they are what I actually remember. A bookmarks tab could either be separate to the resteemed one, or they could be one and the same. I would just use it to do my bookmarking either way.
4. Ditch the 100% vote slider for small fry
My vote is worth just over two cents now. But as I power across the ocean sucking down plankton, I can’t really stop each time I vote to consider the ramifications of whether all those minnows deserve the full power of my financial clout. Maybe the slider could just magically start appearing for the big players whose votes are worth more than say ten cents.
And like many people on Steemit, I have no idea why sometimes when I upvote, the total payout goes down, but having better systems for explaining stuff to newbs is an area I won’t get into here.
5. Ditch the flagging thing
This one is very controversial, and I have three ideas. The simple way is to get rid of all flagging. Even Facebook, which is certainly not an example of free speech, doesn’t have flagging (it does have many ways to do the job less obviously). I think flagging is bollocks, so this would be my perfect solution.
Failing that, I’d make all flags (downvotes) carry the same weight, like they do on Youtube. But it’s harder to do that on Steemit because the voters here all carry different voting power, so that’s probably not an option.
My third best option is to make a downvote equivalent to the power of the median (middle) upvote on that post. By that I mean, if there were, say, 11 votes ranging from .01 of a cent to $100, use the value of the 6th vote from the bottom (which is also the 6th from the top) which might be more like 10c.
Possibly some whales won’t like this suggestion much. But most whales view Steemit as an investment, and want to encourage a larger user base. Many of the 99% of people on Steemit who are not yet whales, don’t much like the idea that a whale can potentially come along and bury their post because they disagree with it. As happy minnows are the key to Steemit's future growth, hopefully a lot of whales will be cool with this idea, or one a bit like it.
6. Encourage more voting
With percentage sliders and talk of five vote limits, the message that is being passed out is along the lines of “your vote is really valuable and should be withheld and saved for that great post in the sky. Hold your anus tight and never squander your riches” when really, for the vast majority of Steemit users, their vote is worth bugger all (literally less than one cent) and voting is symbolic rather than a real financial redistribution.
Whale thinking has possibly dominated Steemit voting, when really, we are almost all just plankton and minnows and would be better off going apeshit and voting like maniacs. I can understand why, in a country where people are seriously trying to decide whether to vote for Donald Chump or Killary Clinton, there is a resistance to voting.
But on Steemit, we have an opportunity to fling our votes around like confetti and feel good about it.

If you would like to find other sources for any of them I highly recommend doing a reverse Google image search - just don’t be surprised if you find say 25 billion of them
As to where any of them really originated from, I think the internet has been interbreeding for decades, and the idea that we can work out the original source for most images is an idealistic myth.
There are two sides to this position, but even as a person producing original art and photography myself, my opinion is that gate has long been open, and the horse has bolted. So that is why I’m buggered if I’m going to go through the pretense of crediting the supposed original sources of all the images I use on my Steemit posts.
Steemit need some (or many) improvements especially in the voting system.
The question is, is there anyone to listen?

I agree that our followers should be put in a list from A to Z, because it is so hard to find them...
And I agree too on the matter that reblog/resteem should be in a separate tab in our blog. For this I give this example:
And I noticed something too...When I put my first reblog someone flag it for some reason...I dont get affected because it was just a reblog...
I dont know why it happened...maybe it was just a coincidence that when I pressed reblog someone pressed flag...and it was strange too...because what I rebloged had actually made around 1000 SD.
Onest here I dunno what to say...only that Steemit is growing and for sure the site will be improved here and there until will NOT be BETA anymore!

-The tab idea for resteemed stuff is what I had been saying too.. it has to have SOME separation. Groups or tags on your list to let you sort what you want to see most, at different times. New users are already having to cut out how many people they're following because resteems have taken over their feed too much to wade through.
-Bookmarking - the app on my tablet actually has that, it kind of shocked me at first, and I was scared of flagging something instead of saving it. I figured it was a great way to save the posts I wanted to go comment on for a later time, etc.
-Voting system is totally confusing to really understand, of course we all want to use it on everything we appreciate as a "like" while we explore new content and meet users, but then we don't know what's really going on after too many votes. What do you do if your vote actually doesn't feel like it even matters, why bother? Plus there's people who actually got stuck in a limbo of not being able to vote at all and they just felt useless. Many left feeling they had no voice and were invisible. That says something is messed up here.
I do like that it seems to encourage actual commenting and interaction, like a SOCIAL network and encouraging community, not just using votes for winning you're own without really connecting. Well I feel like that might be a point of it, though users don't all operate like that. Some users just aren't the commenting very often type though, and there should still be a home for them.
