Hello Steemian I have been posting the Steem price updates again everyday since I attended the SteemFest 2 event also just incase your thinking something doesn't look as it should... the daily steem price update will be slowly getting a new look.
But as usual knowing the price of Steem is important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price change for 16/1/2018

Wow probably one of the biggest Steem drops ever around (%40) see now this is what I expected the first time round, unfortunately its dragging the SBD down with it, but hey a day or 2 could be a great time to buy Steem. Can SBD recover now I wonder..

No. When the price of steem goes down, I get more steem during reward payouts. I don't have much steem power because I have a new account, lower price helps me accumulate it faster. I just celebrated a 10 year anniversary of my facebook account... can you imagine what 10 years worth of tokens from here could be worth? We only have ~600,000 users at the moment, the price will go up as we gain more users on the plaform.
Exactly right I am looking forward to getting more power as I want to be a dolphin if possible this year, oh my gosh yes I have wasted years online in other places all my content would of been worth alot on steemit now, thanks for the voting supprt we are here everyday.

when I started steemit then SBD was almost 9$ but now it's going down and down ......
