Wow .. you event seems to have been quite well organized.

The upcoming even on Monday in Nuremberg will be held more like a Stammtisch. Nothing special planned except for meeting each other, chatting etc. I hope people will still like it and we can grow a Franconian Steemit group that meets on a regular basis.

Organizatio was great, also the post with a lot of photos to see what's going on.

I'm sure it will be fun, I'd love to be there too!
Wünsche euch viel Spaß!

As someone who organised a meet-up I know how hard it is.
So my hat off to you mate for the hard work, it turned out really well (judging by those photos).

Really glad that @phareism made it also.
It makes me feel quite happy and needed as a community member that whales take participation in those parts! Good example @phareism

@ ALL who participated - keep on steeming guys!

thank you for your kind words. Happy to hear that. I tried to organize everything to create an awesome and memorable event, and it turned out great.
I was also very happy to get to know @pharesim personally, I think it was a great opportunity for everyone to be able to ask a whale + witness their questions !

Upvoting because of the crazy cool smooth intro moves in the gif! Looks like you all had a lot of fun.

haha, thank you! yes we did!

The event was amazing! Thank you so much @sirwinchester @mrs.steemit and all the other organizers, speakers and participants! I loved to experience the shared enthusiasm about crypocurrencies and the great socio-structural developments we are witnessing and shaping now in these early phases. The potential is incredible!
Also, thank you all for your feedback on pevo!

You also encouraged me to overcome the last inhibition threshold and to start posting myself. Steemit is something special and it is only natural when 'beginners' struggle first.

I learned that as soon as you're in, you automatically develop hundreds of ideas for interesting contributions to the community. There is nothing to be afraid of! @mrs.steemit shared her view that steemit stories are so close to real life: steemers don't pretend to be someone else. They present themselves the way they really are and share their inner conflicts with the community.

I'm very curious about the future of steem and the 'world domination'!

you put so much effort into this, with the food and the room and the video etc.. definitely an inspiration for future meetups!

thank you, appreciate that! I just wanted to create a fun and memorable evening for the steemit community, and it turned out great!

Wow great job on organizing the meetup! That's really a good crowd!

I'm planning to organize a meetup here in Phoenix, Arizona after I finish putting together the Steemit FAQ (almost done). It looks like a lot of effort went into this! I would love to get peoples' feedback regarding what they liked about it and what kind of things they would like to see at future meetups.

and what kind of things they would like to see at future meetups

more people :)

sounds like a great idea!
I think the people mostly entertain themselves, just chatting and exchanging ideas is already very fun!
You should definitely plan for several hours though, and also provide some drinks if possible.
We had a Beamer which was great for presentations and demonstrating the cash-out process on Steemit. I think that would be helpful too. I think a mixture between presentations and socializing/chatting like we had was a good combination!

Amazing, thank you @sirwinchester for your post , i guess that your secret is that anything you do , you are doing it with total involvement !.....isn't it ? Have a great steem day !

That's exactly right! And it's a strategy that works!

Looks like I missed out on a very successful and great event. I will definitely catch the next meeting in the near future. Keep doing great work bro and paving the way with your inspiring success.

It definitely was a great event, next time you'll be there too!

Hi Tony,

thank you so much for having organised this awesome event!

Here is my post about it:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@aaronkoenig/in-hamburg-you-say-digga

Glad that you had fun! Upvoted your post as well!

Yeah, i already read this meetup post from another member that attended. Funny how there post only made 30cents and yours will probably get a few hundred. I hope youguys share the rewards since it took everyone there to essentially make it happen.
Looks like fun. Wish i could go

He didn't just attend, he was the one who organized it and paid for the room, the Beamer, the food, the drinks etc. those things are not free 😉

I was at the meetup and blogged about it.

@sirwinchester was a great host and well deserves all the rewards this post will generate :)

yes it was lots of fun, but @sirwinchester has the right to get the rewards because he organized everything so nicely, he had a professional photographer and food etc. And the location was a very nice hotel so probably not the cheapest.

@sirwinchester is the best Host. It is always an unforgettable event with him.

By no means is @sirwinchester entitled to share his revenue outside of his core team members. He provided the opportunity, paid the costs and hosted the platform. Whether someone chooses to attend the event or not is up to that person. He invested in steemit community and his brand and he should see the full rewards of such a risk. Plus all who showed up will now be more interconnected and have gained valuable knowledge for the future plus networking connections. A fair trade indeed.

awesome, I wonder how many people will turn up next year if you do it again.

that's a very good question, we also talked about how steemit would have changed if we'd meet again in 1 year. I'd be very interested to know!

Impressive and great to see a strong german steemit group on steemit :-).
First I thought the place for steemers would be Berlin but now I realize the secret headquarter is Hamburg.
@steempowerwhale 🐳
🌞 upvoting your lifetime dreams!

Berlin is a power centre, too. Just wait for next week's meetup (September 10th).
https://steemit.com/steemit/@aaronkoenig/next-bxb-steemxb-in-berlin-on-september-10th-with-sir-winchester

Thank you for the info. I look forward to read about it and if Berlin can keep up with Hamburg :-).

Love it man just love it so much damn great success and building Steemit from outside to within. Keep it up hoping to attend the next meetup!

Thank you very much!
many people ask themselves how steemit can become more successful, and the secret are the members and building the community!

Congratulations on your successful "meet up"!

The dog already knows it all, that's why he's taking a nap. He's one of the kickstarters.

It was so nice meeting all of you in real life ! Thank you @sirwinchester for hosting this great Event. We will always remember the first Hamburg Meet Up and you made it perfect

glad you had fun, and we will definitely do it again!

I totally get what you mean, I am on steemit so much that talking to "normal people" has become quite boring. must be amazing to talk to people ABOUT steemit in real life!

I was in Hamburg this summer and was shoted by Eric Meyer - one of my favourite photographers)

nice picture

So interesting to see a digital community meet up in a physical one! It's a brave new world out there. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly, it's so funny to think that all the people in that room met purely because of steemit. amazing what power the internet has!

looks like you guys had a good time. wish I was in germany!

wow, such a cool location. would love to meet some other steemers in "real life" as well!

Cool! You're doing fine!

Yesterday was awesome! Looking forward to many more meetups :)

it was lots of fun! Hope you'll be there in december for the next round!

very professional room with the beamer, and also great camera and photos. would have been awesome to be there

Wow. that looks awesome and very professional. Well done.

thank you, I did my best to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible, and everybody had a great time!

looks like the coolest meetup I've seen on steemit!

looking so good.

very professional video + photos, upvoted for your effort! looks like you all had a great time!

We need to do one in AZ!

then you should go ahead and start planning! ;)

Wow this looks awesome! Brilliant ! Would be nice to see who is who in real live, the names are missing on the pics....

I put the names for everyone that presented under the pictures, and as for the group shots: Some people wanted to stay anonymous, and others haven't really started posting yet, they came to the meetup because they had some questions and were just interested in the platform.
But you'll probably find out who was there from the comment section anyway ;)

would love to meet some other steemers as well, looks so fun! unfortunately there are not many in my area, but maybe in the future!

Wow, that is really, really damn impressive. Congratulations!

thank you for the compliment, appreciate it! I just wanted to create an awesome and memorable event, and it turned out great!

looking good, great post!

Wow. that looks awesome and very professional. Well done Steemit People!

yes it was lots of fun, and thank you for your feedback!

That looks really fantastic! Great job @sirwinchester. Venue looks great, food/refreshments look delicious and you even had a great turnout. Congratulations!

Awesome, thank you for your kind feedback. I tried my best to make it as fun as possible for everyone, and we all had a great time!

hats off for organizing this, looks like a great event where everybody was enjoying themselves!

so nice that you even provided food and drinks for the others. really cool event and probably great for the german steemit community!

looks AMAZING! Wish we could have all been there (although we kind of participate virtually!)

love seeing meetup posts, the steemit community is really unique. everyone is so friendly, and seems to be the same in real life. awesome!

even a whale was there, thats really cool! Must be very interesting and also great to get all your questions answered. maybe you should livestream it next time

events like this are what keeps the steemit community in progress! great work for the community to organize this

looks like a really cool event, the food looks delicious and my favourite is the video!
