Steem is a cutting-edge cryptocurrency blogging platform and has been growing exponentially since its inception. Steem is changing the way we use social media with its new technology and building a supportive and positive community in the process. We accomplished a lot in less than 2 years. We are ahead of a lot of competition out there and there are a lot of very special reasons that we're going to continue to become absolutely massive. We are only beginning to enter our growth stage. Steemit has more than 433,000 registered account. The comments on the Steam blockchain are over 550,000 per day. Last year there were only about 115,000 comments per day. As you can see we are growing very fast.
In Steem, we're building new apps every day, there are new entrepreneurs showing up to build new products every day. Steem has multiple platforms, a large audiences and multiple potential uses. Other blockchains can offer a unique storing value and ideas being sold for millions of dollars and won't actually turn into anything. But Steem continues to evolve technologically and creatively. Steem has a lot of open-source tools and really good application to help incentivize developers just to make commits and to write code in different open-source projects.
Steem Have Many Applications
We have lots of apps in just in a short period of time. We have Steepshoot which is like Instagram, Dtube which is like Youtube. Dlive which is for live streaming. Zappl is like Twitter on Steem blockchain. Dsound which is an application that allows you to listen and upload musics. And dMania which is basically like 9GAG you can post funny memes. A lot of Applications are coming to a mobile app to communities. There are endless ways to reconstruct and reconfigure the public data of Steem in creative ways that inspire people to come on board and participate and be a part of the community. There are currently more Steem apps that in development. The amount of applications is a great reason of why we are ahead.
Steem Is Taking Over
There are open source tools for scaling and developer convenience like Steemconnect. A solution for entrepreneurs to launch websites. Many big reasons that Steem is going to grow. We've already seen that there are incentives out there and bringing people to the project as entrepreneurs as writers and developers.
The Biggest Reasons why Steem Will Be Huge
A new Steem based protocol call Smart Media Tokens to allow any and every application to have their own Steem like tokens. It can intergrated easily into social media and generated content websites in ways that are rewarding contributors and allowing websites to monetize and allowing entrepreneurs to raise money. So taking what is already great with Steem and it's multiplying it by 10 to 1000 times. It's going to empower us to build something of our own that contributes to the greater good of all of us. Imagine what it can do for entrepreneurs and developers who already have their own apps. It's going to allow them to build a new type of businesses with Smart Media Tokens. Be prepared for massive growth. We could be seeing a 50-1000 dollars per Steem tokens soon.
Thank you for the great post. You made some great points about the potential of Steem. I agree that the SMTs will be huge! It really does show how much potential there is. Also it's great that Steemit is growing so fast. Thank you for sharing those numbers with us. The one thing you forgot to mention is how fast and great the Steem blockchain is. 90 second transactions are amazing for a blockchain that does so many transactions. All these reasons along with the earning potential of Steem Power through delegation should lead to a rise in the price of Steem. I'd love to see your forecast of $50-1000 come true. I believe that it can and will!

This is an exciting platform. My only wish is that it does not become full of spam and then lose value in the eyes of the community. I believe that it is down to each one of us to keep this platform free of trash through responsible upvoting and commenting so it is here for the long run, and not a 4-year gold rush to then become a bloated platform that is equated with junk mail. Let's all do our bit to help keep Steemit strong!

steemit is very fast forward, I agree with your post, I also hope tomorrow steem dollar / steem to 50-1000 dollars per steem tokens, what I see now, steemit very advanced rapidly in indonesia country especially aceh, I've seen statistics that in Indonesian/Aceh, steemit became very popular, they are flocking to want to have a steemit account, I know what is their looking for, that is money, and after that, many people leave steemit because they see themselves unlucky, they're not have a big vote for money, some people back in steemit and want to try again, and the other is really leaving steemit, very lucky for those who want to try again after their understanding what is steemit, because steemit for me is an insight to explore yourself more advanced.

Great post again, but when are these apps going to be on the Iphone? Part of the reason I stopped using Instagram is how much work I was putting into my posts and got 0 in return. Even though they were running ads, making money off my hard work.
I held out on getting a smartphone longer than anyone I know, but now that I have one I find it so convenient to access Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc. as a follower or as a poster. When Steepshoot, DTube, and Steemit all have apps for my phone I will find it so easy to fade out the "mainstream apps". That time can't get here soon enough!!
