Schön wenn Leute auf einer Domain von der keiner weiß wer sie betreibt evtl. ihre Key's eingeben. Ob mit einer cross site scripting attack nebenbei noch die Key's von relevanten Cookies ausgelesen werden können weiß ich nicht.

ist übrigens eines der schlimmsten Argumente, das ein intelligenter Mensch vorbringen kann, denn es hat in vielen Lebensbereichen schon zu fatalen Folgen geführt. Ich habe dir immer zugetraut, eigenständige Entscheidungen treffen zu können. So bleibt bei mir irgendwie der Begriff "Mitläufer" hängen. Das ist sehr schade, ich habe dich und viele deiner Beiträge immer sehr geschätzt.

Ich hab die Entscheidung getroffen einen letzten Versuch zu starten, dem @steemchiller (vllt. hilft euch diesbezüglich eine Mention?^^) bestenfalls einen Tritt zu verpassen, ist ja alles kein Problem wie wir sehen können (to tickle someone!!!).
Seine Entscheidung, womit ich mich diesbezüglich auch ausklinke, denn mir wirds was diesen Versuch angeht schlicht zu blöd...
Es ist mir mittlerweile durchaus EGAL, was weiterhin mit Steem passiert, mein Vertrauen in Steem = ZERO, Gründe dafür gibts für mich genug - besser :)?
Du musst für dich selbst entscheiden, was du davon halten willst - ich hab für mich entschieden, endgültig, mich dabei allerdings nicht verändert, ich weiß nur was ich für mich ernst zu nehmen hab und was nicht... wobei ich immer für ein bisschen Schabernack zu haben bin (zu viel Pumuckl in der Kindheit🤷♂), aber ansonsten gilt - Zeit ist kostbar :).

Die haben mittlerweile zugegeben, dass sie die Offline-Version vom Chiller nutzen. Das hat nicht das geringste mit Reverse-Engineering zu tun. Das ist eindeutig ein Verstoß gegen das Urheberrecht.
Der @steemchiller benötigt keine Lizenz um an sein Recht zu kommen, nur wird er das nie durchsetzen, da er ja Dauerpleite ist.
Trotz alledem sollten wir den Chiller da unterstützen. Plagiate werden weder auf Steem noch auf Hive unterstützt.
Sehe ich leider auch so. Vielleicht lässt sich ja eine Einigung finden. Einfach mal fragen, bevor man soetwas hier macht :/

BeeMe.ICU is build from the version steemchiller himself offered as a download on his site a while back. We obviously made some color changes and fixed some bugs in it. But we used the software version that he made available for everyone to download.
Not sure how is this even possible as SteemWorld is closed source. Perhaps they did a binary hack 😄
SteemWorld provided a downloadable version a while back and allowed everyone to download the source code of SteemWorld. We used that as a starting point for BeeMe.ICU.

It would be very nice to know WHO "someone that believes in decentralization" is. Is he anonymous because he knows he stole @steemchiller's intellectual property?
I don't think that "someone that believes in decentralization" has arranged the release of the program with the developer.
If he did, it's okay. If it is not agreed, all users who are now happy should know that they are using stolen goods.

Hab mich zuerst sehr gefreut, als ich die Überschrift gelesen habe, weil ich dachte, dass Steemchiller nun doch auch was für Hive macht, aber wenn es tatsächlich so dreist gestohlen wurde wie es scheint, dann werd ich es definitiv nicht benutzen und verurteile diese Aktion aufs Schärfste!

I can neither prevent the use and distribution of the program, nor give absolution. I can only express what the developer, me and many others who know how much time, energy and money @steemchiller has invested in his SteemWorld, think of the "project".

they made a nice choice in what version to use, I always liked the look of the seven day review on top, it is much more useful than the link look.
The 7 days review could be found further down on Steemworld tho :D

Great to spread the news of this being released. However I think you should have clearly mentioned in your post that YOU did not release the software yourself. There are many users in the comments thinking you are the dev.
Anyways I’m happy to have BeeMe, no matter the circumstance.
