It isn't the value, it is the poke to their ego. I remember one very highly paid author here going insane at some noob with zero value because she got one downvote from them.
Even nutjobs can get highly paid on Hive.

Hehe, you are right. It is the ego. They can't take it. I think some of them have had lives in which they don't hear negative things. Then when they do they go tonto!
