Pretty much, but it's very hard for her to express feelings. So she attacks me whenever she can, usually between August and December, then cools down to be somewhat bearable the rest of the year. It's a sad story, really, but inevitable. Nothing left but taking it with humor and a chance to grow! She's an amazing teacher for stoicism, I tell ya.

Since so many are desperate for the price of hive to climb, I think it's high time to make the HP/HBD payout 75/25 and make it that only 4% of HP can be powered down in 12 months. Maybe with that hive will hit $10.

I guess hive's price was considerably stable then. Imagine where hive price will go if the power down feature was removed altogether. After all the hbd payout is reward enough.

It was before my time, so I don't know. There was talk of 4 weeks a few years ago, but unsure if better or worse. One of the issues of long powerdown is that many investors don't like the risk.

I think the hpud at least is motivational for smaller creators. I like to do that monthly review, calculate the portion I want to PU, see my account growth and feel good about it.
Auto-Votes can be the same motivation in the beginning. I got quite a few for quite a while, which stopped when I reached 5k. I'm still on some folks list I think, but a lot less than in the beginning. Which is fine. I use auto-vote myself for the people I get on board, hoping that it motivates.
But yes, for Rep75 and plus accounts, it doesn't really make much sense. They usually have enough attention anyway to get good voting results, if they create adequate content.

Damn that is a lot. I don't particularly like autovotes because most of the time people who autovote are not leaving comments. So in a blog autovotes seems to be doing more harm than good. I remember some gaming phrase saying "It's a feature, not a bug". So for me autovotes seems more like a bug and less like a feature...

It's divided in Ecuador, but since we use the USD here, there is usually not much need to extract value. The workshop I did on Friday was with two expats who were looking for a platform to share and discuss their pictures & videos. When I told them about HP, Hive and HBD they looked at me confused and not interested at all. They wanted the platform.
In the evening, I installed snapie on two phones of two Ecuadorian girls, teaching quickly how to use it. They are interested in the content creation and making a little extra, but I told them that it's really hard to make a meaningful amount, compared with what they generally earn. I think it's more the fun part for them, being able to make some coins which they can then trade for bread, burritos or pizza.
Influx on the other hand is not that likely, either. Having people invest instead of just earn. I'm pretty sure that most will have a KE of 2, since I won't tell them how to power down or that it's an option 😜 They can figure that out by themselves, I'm sure.
But for now, it's growing the user base. With that comes hopefully attention. And with that some investors.

More useful I think. Some people could convert a tiny slice of their BTC and be Hive whales instantly. Bring their various followers with them and there will be a decentralised space with a lot of functionality that could support all kinds of crypto projects and enthusiasts, while steering clear of all the centralised platform assholes. The goal of all of crypto people, should be to replace centralisation at all levels.
