I'm not here to argue the details or try to fight on Khals behalf. I'm not a part of their team although I'm a big fan of what they have built.
You have some valid points in terms of how votes are distributed and in terms of how Khal operates but I think that con artist is a false statement and a dangerous one.
A con artist doesn't stick around and keep building and keep pumping their own money into a project. Their team has built a great platform on hive and a working cross chain dex that's making big connections in the space.
I do agree that he runs his mouth off and that he talks a lot of shit. A lot of promises that have never been delivered on but i could make that statement about almost every team that has built or failed at building something here.
And we are running out of projects that are building. Very few people are building anything on hive anymore in spite of how good our tech is or the best efforts of some great ambassadors or community members.
There is still the perception out there that the community is hostile and unfortunately i've seen it numerous times over the years.
I've also seen the effort that blocktrades and the entire team has put into improving the chain and i'm assuming a hell of a lot of money too. It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. We have a great core dev team so i think that Khal's statements are just as untrue and dangerous and childish.
Now I'm just a small user who has stuck around through the years and tried to become a bit bigger but what i have seen without fail is that downvotes create toxicity and loses users. It's not scammers that are getting downvotes here, in most cases it's long term hive users and potential long term users.
I know that you are doing what you think is best for hive but I just wanted to say that I disagree. I accept that some of your points above are right and i always appreciate when facts are laid out in a clear and calm manner just how all of these issues should be resolved.
