Today has been the most boring day everrrrrrrrrrrr! 😩
Spent most of my day trapped inside my car, waiting on my Daughter to finish taking a most useless test, the PSSA. I have to drive about 40 miles each way for her to take the ridiculous tests, which are all week long. That equals 5 days, 400 miles and 30 hours of time and energy wasted.
We have now completed day 1. 😒
This is starting to sound like a hostage situation, if I do say so myself.
I went to the store and got some things, then parked my car. Then I waited.. waited.. waited.. waited.. and waited some more! You getting the picture yet?
While I was waiting, I was jotting some notes down on my phone about how painful this day was becoming, and how many times I can make the pain rhyme. Just trying to kill some time and keep myself amused. To be quite honest...
The whole day sucked. Oh how I wished I could take me a lil trip. 😛
I was day dreaming about times past, and what I needed was an old fashioned escape. Anyhow, I finally made it back home, and here ya go. 😵
Scatterbrain
Should I hop on that train
Get myself high on cocaine
Let some blood cut a vein
Life at times is inhumane
I'm abstaining from being mundane
Untethering the old ball and chain
Indulging in a bit of windowpane
Gonna wrap my soul in cellophane
Questioning life such a scatterbrain
Hydroplaning waves in a hurricane
Repeating the rhyme of sham pain
My agitated skull hangin on a chain

Wishing I was driving the fast lane
Covered in foul mucous membrane
Better shower with some acid rain

Thanks. 😃 No it isn't, but it's required as I homeschool. If she were in regular school, she could just take the test there. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet.
Very true, this! I'm taking one of my boys out of school to homeschool, instead, too. I'm actually really looking forward to it and feeling positive. We'll see what I feel a year from now, but at this moment I'm excited.
Yeah, it's great, and good to get them out of the pes. But it can be a task lmao. But if you make it fun(for yourself), should be gravy. 😁

Oh my I can relate to the boredom! Work has been like that for me this week... yawn fest and waste of time driving 40 mile roundtrip to show my face in the office... get there pull out my laptop and work just as I would at home... but I wasted 1.5 hours in the car, got to work in a noisy crowded office instead of a quiet calm living room and was distracted half the time by my colleagues. Yeah, could do without the disturbance in the force !LOLZ Hope your week gets better 🙌😎
