Hey Y'all It Is Tree Tuesday!

Hey Y'all

That's Right

It's Tree Tuesday

Southern Style!

Just look at the glossy shine on these leaves. They really look like ivy of some sort but really it is a tree!

20180703_185209.jpg

It is so glossy it almost looks fake! Nature is so cool!

This tree was on the campus of Mars Hill University in North Carolina. A lovely place with mountain views.

Its funny that NOTHING is flat in that area of the state! Nothing. Look at these pines!

20180703_193144.jpg

Not only are they basically growing out of the rocks, it is straight down, like no slope just straight!

Such is the power of life! Have a great Tuesday y'all!

So, I live in Texas, which I love( except for the days it gets to 107 in the summer and oh yeah anytime that we have tornadoes threatening us in the spring) but I do love Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona(Big Lake, AZ), Tennessee and North Carolina. As I told you my son is currently living in Boone, NC. North Carolina does have lots of hills and trees! That looks like a holly bush leaf on that tree.

Wow very wonderful nature photography. I like it your great full post my best friend. thank you so much.

There’s no doubt… North Carolina has been blessed with a wide variety of natural beauties.

That type of surface of the leaves is good for preventing evaporation. Trees and bushes in dry hot summer climates (think California or the Mediterranean Sea basin) often have such leaves. But such trees and bushes are found everywhere in varying degrees.

so cute, cool and relaxing pics

WOW ..It looks like someone has applied lacquer on them leaves and buff them up :)

Shiny, happy, trees. It’s all about the shiny happy trees!

Sounds about right...no flat land at all around these parts. Even my swimming pool is on a hill and slanted. Sometimes those straight drop off sneak up on ya. I've never seen a tree like that one though. Pretty neat leaves. Must not be in my part of the Appalachians.

Treeeeeeeeeeeeeetuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeesday :)

Very nice shots again @old-guy-photos!
Who polished the leaves? :)

Here we go again:

Is that a holy tree @old-guy-photos? it looks similar to one.

Here's my post for this week. Trees in a car park! 😁

https://steemit.com/treetuesday/@gillianpearce/car-park-trees

The tree seems to be tropical or Mediterranean. Anyway, in warm areas. There are leaves so glossy to prevent perspiration and loss of water.
I once again got a tree-filled post: The Sky Beyond The Trees

Lovely comparing different trees, plants, animals across the world. After watching the weekly #treetuesday posts I have finally decided to enter

That's really beautiful! Universities are one of my favorite places to visit and take photos. I wonder if that tree is a type of Holly?

Here's mine. Could be Australia but its California
