How do we help authors on Steem make publishing on Steemit a priority? Is it as simple as consistent upvotes, comments, and recognition from others? I hope so because for Steem to make the difference in the world I expect it to, we need authors that publish to Steem first and to bring readers here!
While each of us has an upvote and the ability to comment, it often takes working together to help spark the motivation to keep trying even when rewards are low. Thank you to @barrysamways for helping me see that being featured in upvotable can be a part of inspiring us as authors to keep trying and build our lives around publishing here as I have done!

I also wanted to add that your first paragraph in this post got me thinking. I don't want to say I'm getting frustrated with Steemit, but things over the last month or so have seemed to be different. What I mean is I have been getting a strange amount of upvotes and comments (more like fewer comments) and still providing the same content. Are you seeing things different too lately? I would guess your not because you have a huge following, but as my following has grown it is fewer views and more votes and less comments. Really almost wants me to offer less on my posts till I become more popular. Your thoughts?
My experience is that bots upvote but don't comment on your content.
