I once made this connection in my brain. I was watching a documentary about the federal reserve system. There was fact A, my brains were working, and then came fact B. My brains added them up: "Fact A + Fact B = SET TO CRASH!" So, centralized fiat currencies are set to crash, inevitably, and deliberately. I just can't reconstruct the connection in my brain which figured it out, and so I can't explain it. I just know it, it's in the design to crash, inevitably. I'd only short/long anything if I had a lot of play-money that I don't care about losing. I actually longed crude oil for a few months as the Uk.-Rus. war started, since most analysts claimed it's gonna keep going up for a very long time. It was going fine for a while, but then geopolitics changed very slightly and I ended up getting liquidated despite a massive collateral. I'd only do it again if I was already quite rich and wanted something fun to do, honestly.
It seem like easy money if I how to use it and when.

Careful with the leverage, though. One small move to the other direction can get you wrecked in the blink of an eye, especially if you don't want to risk a lot of collateral.
