You know you are very blessed when you are home in the evening and found out your mom tried to follow a YouTube recipe to whip up a healthier version of a cake for you.
I actually bought a cake mix and thought of making birthday cupcakes (so that not to trouble my mom) until my mom beat me to it. 😂
(and my dad get to enjoy taste testing the less successful version too)
Even though it was a little sweeter than expected (because her sight is not getting any better and probably got the measurement wrong) but making sugarless matcha with non sweeten milk and fresh cut tomatoes does the trick.
These are the little moments when you realise you don't know how much time you have left that you can spend with your elderly, and just savour the little time you can spare before rushing off to work; so that you can keep the roof over your head and to put food on the the table.
All I can say, cherish your family while you still have them.
How was the match combination go through?
I realise once the matcha is chilled you can't really reheat it on the microwave. It'll clump up and will taste horrible.
