My recent contribution to Propol.is wiki - Hive hard fork - remembers the history of how this platform was born, splitting from its previous blockchain known as the first social media platform that integrates blockchain and cryptocurrency, launched in 2016. I used articles from news outlets like The Block, Cointelegraph and Hachernoon as references aside Hive witnesses and developers posts.
I also linked the tweets (now X) from crypto gurus like Antonopoulos, Vitalik and McAfee, that considered the hive fork as an example of community strenght and decentralized governance of blockchains.
Above is the screen capture of the desktop version of the Hive hard fork article page, as I explained in the post My first contributions to Propol.is, a blockchain integrated wiki there is also a version saved on the blockchain by the account @propolis.eng The image on the top of this post was a result from my explorations using AI tooks like Ideogram, Remove.bg and Canva, inspired by these beautiful artworks created by @thomashnblum with Midjourney.
The hard fork was 4 years ago and @arcange commemorated the anniversary 2 months ago: Happy 4th Hive Forkday to our community. At that time I posted in portuguese about the unforgettable experience of being in the middle of this big transition: O primeiro hard fork (e quarentena) a gente nunca esquece. Versão Hive. What about you? Feel free to share stories and posts, maybe I update the article with more informations and links. I'm sure the subject can be further in-depth and Propol.is wiki is the ideal place to gather this information.
As I said before, my plan is to repeat the incentive to the wiki contributors with Hive tokens distributions using all liquid rewards collected with this post, previous and next of the same subject being monthly distributed to Propol.is participants.
