The stock market is a place where many wanna-be investors spend their time, rubbing shoulders with those who like to pretend they know what their actually doing.

Today, WikiTruth jumps into the graphs & numbers to answer the question: Who's Gaining The Most From The Stock Market?

In movies, tv, and even books, the stock market has been painted as a somewhat "hopeful paradise", where any young buck can make it big.

The reality, however, is much different.

I had been a college-educated college graduate for more than 20 years and as a young business graduate, I had never before ventured into the stock market. I was lucky enough to have worked at an S&P 500 index fund before I entered the job market, and even when I quit my job, that helped keep me financially afloat, but that certainly did not make the stock market any lower on the list of expenses.

Even after I retired in 2010, stock market expenses like utilities, rent, and health care did not start to eat into my income until I began attending the business school of my dream college and began training to be a financial planner.

In some ways, it's no surprise that I didn't realize the full significance of the stock market until I worked for, and graduated from, an MBA program on Wall Street and bought and sold equity and debt.

While stock market investments seem like a good way to diversify your portfolio, it is hard to predict how long you'll make out if you hold them and whether they will earn interest. It seems like a lot of money is being invested, but it's not all great money.

The amount of daily fraud that occurs in the stock market is something that is unstoppable. From pump & dump scams, to fake listings for bullshit companies, the stock market will take you for a ride, abuse you, and leave you on the side of the road needing to hitch hike your way back home. Not before cutting off you thumbs, of course. The sad thing is, there isn't much you can do to stop this abuse.

In fact, you should start off doing nothing. Why? Because buying is an illusion. When you think, you buy, and when you think a dollar, you buy. Even if you believe your market valuation, the way you should be buying is based on false assumptions like buying low, selling high, and buying at the lowest prices that you can find. The stock market has a huge psychological value that can be grossly abused or lost if you are not careful. If you look hard enough, at the stocks within the largest companies you can find, and understand what a large percentage of their stock is actually worth, you will find a tremendous percentage of what you should be looking for in your investments. When you buy stocks, you are buying companies that you will never actually run.

They will never sell. They don't pay a dividend, and they don't pay a capital gains tax. When you buy stocks, you are paying for someone else's financial success.

The stock market can be incredibly rewarding, but for most of the world, it is incredible dangerous. So, a lot of stock market investors invest their entire portfolios in stocks, not realizing that most of the stock market gains are actually lost if the fund doesn't hold those stocks.

It's the same with gold. The stock market has tremendous potential, but most investors tend to ignore that gold has virtually no value compared to U.S. dollars in terms of a store of value, relative to wealth.

Here in the United States, the Federal Reserve has repeatedly signaled it will ease some of its policies in exchange for more interest rate stability. But it will be interesting to see whether these efforts will actually work in that country over the long term.

One thing many investors don't realize, though, is that the value of physical gold is dependent on its scarcity; that if the price of gold continues to decline, the number of people who want to buy its metal is in decline. This scarcity is so real that when the price of gold falls below the cost of producing it -- the cost of manufacturing the metal -- the number of people buying it tends to go back up.

What will be your outcome if you dance with the stock market devil? I suppose, if you're feeling brave enough to find out, at least keep in mind: Never invest more than you're willing to lose!

We do not believe in "government-given" rights. We believe that the only thing a government can do with a person's rights, is take them away.

As a human, you are innately born with freedom. Any "rights" that are "granted" to you by the government, are merely those they have yet to stripe you off.
To put it bluntly: A GOVERNMENT CAN NOT GIVE RIGHTS, IT CAN ONLY TAKE THEM AWAY.
