@steemgigs finally has a witness!
The reason for a witness is essentially to exertedly highlight the beauty that the steemit community creates. We tend to forget the steemit community and its power, even as a rewards. Yes, SBD/steem is nice but nothing beautifuller as a reward, than knowing the quality and true value of that brother next to you.
We create brotherhood by connecting steemians in need to steemians indeed. This completely integrates the steemit vision of "mining with minds" in a incessant beautiful loop, on the face of a bare steem blockchain that has a behavior paradigm!
The far-flung vision of the community-driven #steemgigs effort, has been to unravel the wealth and depth of the steemit community as we feel that this will first strengthen our conviction in the whole steem experience and will help us forge ever more strongly in pursuing steemit growth.
The steemgigs vision is to direct steemians into creating more visions & dreams, even in within steemit posts. We want steemians to practice more of their expertise, while helping others bring their far-fetch dreams into fruition.
We want to direct people into other aspects of steem, like witnessing, coding, education, out-of-the-boxness etc. Thus, we keep building the dev-request community upon which steemians, even newbies can go, to create tools to maximize the potential of the blockchain and their steemit journey.
We want to create more steem apps in our idea factory and improve content quality on steemit, by helping new steemians generate ideas, when they fall short of ideas.
We want to keep steemians active, even when they aren't creating content. We want steemians to create value, even while behind the scenes. We want to steemians to hone their expertise and bring their visions and enterprise that existed prior to steemit upon the steem blockchain.
We want steemit to be a means to reshape the internet, by means of the quality of the human behind the steemian.
We want to get to the know true wealth and depth of this existing reputable community of great minds! We want to reduce any disparity among minnows, dolphins and whales because in reality, there is no disparity; for if the vision & dream is intact, solid and great; then there is no whale of minnow.
We don't want to fret away from rendering a helping hand and this is what we represent. If we can't help directly, we can brainstorm solutions out, with the help of our beautiful steemit community!
We care, we care, we care! We care about YOU; stat or no stats! So reach out to us in the steemgigs community!

I am still in awe of the fact that something exists where you can click your mouse and significantly change someone's life.
So far, thanks to this platform, community members came together, clicked their mouse and helped a really nice guy get a life altering surgery, helped a single mother not get evicted from her home, helped a person on dialysis get the healthy food they needed, helped another single mom whose kids have chicken pox, helped... who knows how many people?
Those were just some of the big ones.
There are many people on here who make enough rewards on a post to put food on their family's table for days. How amazing is that?
Steemit is giving people hope.
Actually no. Steemit is empowering people to give themselves hope.

Sweetness. Thank you a lot. I saw your recent role for the @antonette the woman you referred. I saw your donation. How nice! She was at the meetup in Manila. And the other young man is @darthnava i believe. Yes, i spoke of steemit in the last meetup in ways similar to how your speak of it. There is that steemit effect evident in any room filled with steemian because even obliviously by mining with minds daily, behavior in check before a community of reputable great minds, we have been growing! Thank you for the vote as well and for your persistence with steemit education. It will pay off!

Well, I did try to go on discord, but I did not understand it whatsoever and it was just beeping and colorful - I'm not tech-y at all and I do not know how to chat anywhere really.
