I could just Steemit exclusively to make a living.
You see I have some followers to give exposure to some good content by displaying it to some people that will on their turn find them interesting, I never did the follow to follow tactic, or personally use a booster of some sorts. Yeah it haven't work the best for my followers, but I feel like my audience is more committed to my work.
Steemit's growth is big and is not without its drama. We all witness the late flag fights, I sympathize with anyone flagged for no apparent reasons but I understand the reasoning when big interests collide. I can sympathize with both sides and only wish for the best outcome for steemit, in the end of the day that is what we all wish for. I am not a big player. I am not power hungry, I just want to give out a hand if possible and help it grow, as that I feel is the only remedy for our micro ecosystem...
As more people will fluid the steem evolution will be bigger, for the entire project to get halted by coding issues I want to believe that the interests from the investors are to great to allow such a thing to occur. Creating fud spreading it and consuming it, it is one of our community's hobbies probably. Hey I have fallen victim of fud lots times, I bet you too.

I myself am working a demoralizing small job to go by where my salary is worth 2/3 of your post payout amounts, but I'm living in Bulgaria.
being honest original and authentic helps the most. There are people in here that genuine want to help and promote content worth of be promoted but you can tell that whales can't catch up with everything since I am just guessing steemit is a portion of their interests. it takes time and comitment to stand out and get some worthy upvotes down the way, I am not saying its easy, just that it is not out of reach.

@vangelov the whole following thing is a bit problematic not only on this platform I think..it's like either begging for followers or dealing with bots..So yes you're right about being your authentic self do your own thing and it will pay off in the long run...and @skapaneas is a prove of that!
And @vangelov about small jobs, don't worry everyone been there done that, it can be frustrating but hard work and ethic matters and will pay off sooner or later. Stiskam palci!!
You are right on that.. I'm currently following people that support me in any manner. Afterwards when I reach 200 people that i follow i won't be looking at the trending and hot pages so much, mainly focusing and helping the people that I follow ^^ that's my plan so far
Writing is very inspiring @skapaneas, this is the answer I have been looking for in steemit. Building trust in followers is very important. I even want my number of followers to be 1 million. And I keep trying to achieve that .. hopefully this writing you can make me better.

It is not something you should be concerned as it is a whales game. you can check some of the steemit category posts about it. I cought a lot of people talking about the matter. My stance is to keep out of that kind of conflicts as their isn't much I can contribute to either side.

Hi my friend. I try to keep my self active I think it helps me be more productive than just sitting on my desk waiting for some interesting ideas to pop up. Steemit really helped me overcome some of my social anxiety issues. It gave me a lot more than just an extra income. My life seems more meaningful if that makes any sense. Helping out my local community to grow, socializing with all of you guys here it's probably the best thing ever happened for me. If that comes with monetary privileges so be it. I really dig into it and I would love to see more people experiencing the same 😀😀😀
