Who of you have been following the livestream from Keramas this morning (besides @stephen-somers 🙂)? What a day of world class surfing! I’ve never seen so many tubes, air drops and monster turns in my life! Insane! Also there was not only one heat without a thrilling battle until the very end. Even though they got both knocked out, to me the real superstars of today’s men’s Quarterfinals were Willian Cardoso (Brazil) and Jeremy Flores (France). Saw the film Andy Irons: Touched by God last night. Really excellent and sad.
Went surfing the day before Hurricane Alberto hit. But mostly shot some super slow motion of the wave with camera.
Do you ever use Redbull TV. It's free and there are all sorts of surfing films on there.
Was the Keramas part of the WSL?

Keramas was part of the WSL - as well as the Uluwatu CT which took place one week later and which I partly followed as well.
I haven't been using Redbull TV yet, but it sounds very interesting - thanks for the tip!! :-)

Redbull TV is amazing! Watched a great WRC Rally Sardinia last weekend. So good! The winner was only 0.7 seconds ahead of 2nd place!

Got back on one of my old competition bodyboards right before a tropical storm hit the Gulf Coast. It's a BZ Ben Severson model. Very fast! And I caught a few waves. And it really kicked my ass! I got slammed on some shorebreak and had sand in my ears and hair even after showering! But, I caught a few waves!
