sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-510
uname -r
sudo apt install linux-headers-5.15.0-56-generic

After that, I restarted my 2021 ASUS Laptop and it said I was using the 510 driver. I was using the 470 driver in November 2022 and into December as well. Perhaps I was always using 470. I tried other drivers and they did not work when I tried like a month ago. But since then I upgraded Ubuntu Mate from version 20.04 to 22.04. I'm assuming a newer kernel in the newer OS version. Perhaps that played a factor. Also I installed via Terminal from info I found on a website. My laptop froze last night and again around 07:00 PM today. So, I am going to give this newer driver a try.

During my nap this fine white snowy Christmas week evening during my nap, I was dreaming I was back at my original home in the ghetto in Oregon. In Kathy and Katrina's house was not Kyle Vanderzanden. Not Dusty or others. Not even Bill Bailey. My mind was thinking it was Kyle but then thought it must be somebody who looks like him in some ways. It turns out it was Tim Pool of the Timcast. I was over there hanging out with him and others. I really wanted to like grab food from my house and stuff and come back. I wanted to let my mom and or whoever know I would be staying the night there. There were times or maybe all the time that where we were was like Oregon, Washington State, etc. Like a combination of places. But I am not too sure which places outside of my ghetto. It was the ghetto among other things at the same time. I was talking to the people. Almost like an argument about whether or not I needed to go home or just stay there. I was just going to stop by at my house and stuff. I was going to be on their show and not that I wasn't like on the show like in the background in some ways before that. It was going to be cool. People there were excited that I was going to hang with them. I eventually went home. I had to like walk there and it took like a minute. I was walking around and through my house which was not the trailer I grew up in. I don't know where it was, maybe the Rountree house and or different places. Maybe I didn't run into people at my house to say bye to as I was off to Tim. I think I did make it back to Tim before waking up. This is the first Tim Pool dream I can remember having in my life.

However, some of this may be useful, applicable, inspirational, educational, entertaining, etc. However, the template here is mostly that of a boring log. I've included my watch log near the bottom of this post listing some of the videos I've viewed. At the very bottom are some of my favorite links worth sharing. Dear diary journal blog, I got up at 11:00 AM. Forget dreams. Feeling tired. Breakfast, 11:12 AM. I helped Larry take down an oak tree in the front yard from 12:00 PM to 01:08 PM, the trunk was peobably less than a foot through. We had like a maple syrup tree growing up in Oregon in the front yard. Perhaps an oak. I don't know if syrup comes out of oak or not. But hard wood. He had me climb up a ladder to attach a rope. He used a chainsaw. My hands are cold. I pulled towards the grapes and green house so the tree would not fall onto the weak fence of the island garden bed and snow hill and car and 2 sheds. It may have landed on the island. So, I guided the tree down. I cut it up. We sharpened the blades of the chainsaw. Mom wanted firedwood but Larry said no. Wood and branches and all went into the firewood. He again explained the details of sharpening the blades when I was coming into my room. Things put away. No snow. Weather said there may have been snow now but it did not happen Sunday night or now into Monday. Mom vacuumed near the front door. Lunch, 01:13 PM. Mom said vacuum wasn't working, it was by the front door. I opened it. I did not see any clogs or tangle. The sucking from the hose worked. I put it back together. It worked again. It started snowing around 03:00 PM, small light flakes. Not the heavier kind of flakes. Still not sticking much or at all to sidewalks and roads but is sticking to snow hills and grass. Dishes around 03:30 PM. Trash Garbage. Dishes. Compost. Mail. Dinner, 04:36 PM. Larry was unable to scan. So, I went over. The printer was updating. I took stuff off the top of the printer. I opened the HP Smart app. I put the documents, the PUD and lease agreement papers in. The printer notified me on the printer's screen that it was loaded. It was able to do both sides of the paper. It was all saved to the computer. I saved shortcuts to the printer app on the desktop or the menu and task bar or several places to make it easier to find. Not sure if you can just click on buttons on the printer itself to get it to work. So do it through HP Smart the app I guess. Food log: Breakfast: coffee, 2 tangerines, 11:12 AM.
