This part is gonna involve you. It's gonna be hard, and you're not gonna like it, at least for a while. It'll make you mad, but if you seek to benefit from it, to learn and improve your ability to perform based on it, you may turn that around and be very glad you were disturbed in this way. It'll sound stupid at first, but as I proceed, it will suddenly make sense, so bear with me for a couple minutes.
This question is something that is part of the very beginning of elementary school curriculum throughout the West, as far as I know. My research indicates it's a ubiquitous part of Western education. There may be exceptions I am unaware of, but I think you'll agree it is.
What is a continent? What I was taught, and what I see from authoritative sources, is one of the large land masses on Earth mostly separated from others by ocean. Pretty simple, and I think we can all agree that's what a continent is. The continents are larger than Greenland, which we are taught is an island geographically part of the N. American continent. Greenland is pretty big, so there are few land masses larger and therefore considered continents.
How many are there? We have been told there are seven, and all the authoritative sources I checked agree there are seven. N. America, S. America, Antarctica, Africa, Australia, Europe, and Asia. When I was six, in first grade, I remember standing at the globe in Geography class and looking at the continents. I was alarmed to discover that this very simple matter of continents was not so simple after all.
Europe and Asia are clearly one contiguous land mass, without a hit of separation at all. Europe was no more separate from Asia than India, which is often referred to historically as 'the subcontinent'. North and South America are attached by a very thin isthmus of land, the Isthmus of Panama, and Africa and Asia are connected between Egypt and Palestine, today Israel, but these are insignificant connections compared to their size and long, separate coastlines.
Not so Europe and Asia, which weren't even significantly narrower at their supposed border. As a six year old child I had no qualms about asking the teacher about it. What he told me was obviously bullshit, and made no sense. He said the Ural Mountains was the separation point. Every continent except Australia had larger mountain ranges, and no one suggested there were different continents on either side of them. The Rockies, Andes, and Himalayas were all larger than the Urals, and if such mountains separated continents, then there should be a dozen or more continents.
But this was not so - except between Europe and Asia. I have thought about this ever since, and remain very interested in what this obvious lie means. Here's some things I have decided are very real effects this lie, told millions, even billions of little kids by authority figures they are told to trust to teach them what they need to know, has.
First, kids aren't old enough to argue about this with authority figures when they're six. It's hard being subjected to indoctrination that completely changes the life of a little child at that time, and the pecking order that is forming around them is desperately being grasped and understood already. No little kid, not even me, is going to die on this hill they are utterly incapable of understanding why is even there. They're busy as hell not getting picked on, and trying to meet the institutional requirements this new system that rules their lives imposes on them. This causes them to accept the information presented, even if, like me, they notice the strange different definition of continent that applies to Europe (it's Europe that this singles out, not Asia, because India isn't similarly separated from Asia, and India isn't considered to border Europe. As an aside, I searched for a map that showed both Europe and India looking through dozens, and this was as close as I could find to one centered on that supposed demarcation before I quit spending time on it. So the first definite effect this causes is that children learn to suspend disbelief and accept obvious lies from authority figures. They learn to accept lies instead of the evidence their eyes reveal, and their mind knows to be factual. It is very obvious to me now why totalitarian overlords would seek to cause children to learn very early that authority must be believed and obeyed even when obviously lying, although I sure didn't understand that at six years old. Upon reflection, it isn't hard to see that exact mechanism operating in almost every news story reported by the enemedia, in all political undertakings, from legislative proposals and discussions, to elections, to criminal accusations against political parties and individuals, in how police and military forces assault and enslave people, and in matters of finance, from work to taxes, and wealth distribution and inequality. It's an extremely broad range of effect in literally every aspect of our lives, and since we learned to do this as soon as we became able to read and write and reason, it was hardwired into our brains and is almost unquestionable for folks that don't even realize it's happening and how it affects them, their loved ones, and communities.
Which brings us to the second demonstrable affect on us this lie has. The bulk of folks simply never realize this geographical lie, or that such a thing could be done, or would matter much if it was. So, anyone that brings up the belief in the lies and propaganda being unreasonable and contrary to our beneficial interests is scorned and ridiculed out of hand, unthinkingly. It is immediately rejected as unthinkable by folks that don't think of it, because it's one of the underlying assumptions that was formative in their very person as a child.
Mark Twain said 'It's easier to fool a man than convince him he has been fooled', and this is obviously true. People still don't want to die on this hill, and are actually eager to defend the liars and lies. It's not just the continents, but that mechanism of accepting propaganda as truth, which Orwell so well revealed in '1984'. If the subect is the actual continents, people reject the matter as utterly trivial. Why would it matter if there are six continents instead of seven? That isn't relevant to their interests, jobs, votes, bank accounts, etc. They don't give a shit how many continents there are, and don't see any reason to care. They have shit to do that matters to them, and not only are you making them uncomfortable with your point, but you're wasting their time for no good reason.
They feel the challenge to authority in their guts, understand it subconsciously, but sure as hell don't want to risk everything that matters to them for some geography error that hasn't mattered once in their lives since first grade. The victims of the psychological manipulation protect and defend their attackers and attack their defenders. Stockholm Syndrome is a hell of a drug.
This is turning into more of a wall of text than I wanted, so I'll point but one more effect out.
Because the geography matter is so trivial they can't grasp that it matters at all, all related propaganda inflicted on them is automatically treated as similarly trivial, even when they care very much about the issue, like taxes or police surveillance. Since it's the exact same mechanism they have worked with all their lives and has literally been formed into the neuronal structure of their brains, any such propaganda from authority figures they recognize as 'teachers', such as the talking heads that tell them everything they know about the world every day, fits right into place via the well used mechanism. It meshes with the other propaganda they accept that has not seemed to negatively impact them (since they never question what that propaganda is or causes them to do, they don't notice how it does harm them), and this makes them instinctively treat it as of no more import or relevant to them than the number of continents.
All in all, it's a very powerful and extraordinarily dangerous mechanism of social control for just these three reasons (and I have realized there are more than that, equally potent). It might seem trivially done, but it's not. A very deliberate lie crafted to have these effects on people globally at this formative age is inserted into public school curricula and reinforced across all authoritative sources in the world. Every library, dictionary, website, teacher, cop, judge, city council, political party, and institution of every kind and stripe reinforces this lie. It's not just a couple words slipped into first grade geography class by a few ignorant teachers. It's a very expensive PR campaign that has spanned generations and involved every institution of note you have ever respected, trusted, and worked with. Everyone you know or could conceivably ever meet on Earth has been told this lie. This is not a trivial matter. It's a global conspiracy to control every man, woman, and child on the planet, and is effected through a terribly immoral, even evil, act of lying to little children undertaken by the second most trusted people in their lives, their teachers in first grade.
You have been tricked from your earliest youth into serving overlords with the immense power to fool everyone on Earth, and that have no moral or ethical compunction against lying to children to gain wealth and power, nor to further lie about everything important afterwards using the weapon of malforming their intellects, and actually hardwiring their susceptibility to propaganda and bootlicking into the physical structure of their brains.
There are a couple different ways you can treat this information. You can dismiss it, as I pointed out people that can't think about it do. You can be mad at me for pointing it out, making you a defender of lying overlords and the enemy of people telling the truth, or you can get mad at the evil bastards that literally changed how your brain works so they can profit from your malady. I recommend doing as I have and considering how this affects you, your family (especially your kids) and everyone in the world, and how important it is to be able to know factual information about our world, and avoid believing lies.
This is a hill worth dying on. Mentally controlling you, particularly in view of the development of technology that changes how your brain works and people act, like EMF, sonic weapons, flashing lights, and the like, is the most powerful possible way to cause you to serve overlords and abnegate your freedom, rights, and best interests. There is no happier slave than one that believes they are free. This may be the only hill worth dying on.
Chattel won't do it. Overlords won't do it - hell it's their most powerful weapon. Only Mustangs will be ready, able, and willing to do it. We're outumbered and outgunned, even if not by particularly sophisticated foes, since they're actually mentally prevented from using their intellectual potential by this very weapon. I don't think Mustangs have been so weeded out of the genepool that overlords outnumber us, but overlords are very sophisticated enemies indeed.
But, even agreeing this has been done and is continuing to be done, and needs to be stopped, what can actually be done about it? Waving placards at passing limousines or arguing with your in laws over Turkey dinner isn't going to change anything or gain you allies in this desperate contest for your very mind and freedom.
The whole point of this global, multigenerational, psychological manipulation is to cause your life to be profitable in wealth and power to overlords through parasitization of your wealth, political power, and conforming every act in your life to mechanisms that deliver them wealth and power. Using institutions, they effect regulations that suck the life from your veins, and if you balk they send thugs after you to capture, confine, and enslave you. All of these tools derive from centralization of power into those walled institutional gardens they control.
Decentralization is the destruction of centralization. You don't have to vote against them, call them out, argue with their thugs (or your inlaws) or bleed in the streets. None of those things will decrease their power. All of those things have become tools that increase their power. It's actually best if you don't do any of these things to avoid increasing the power of your enemies. All you have to do is acquire of the growing number of means of producing the goods and services you need to create your quality of life as profits you in your circumstances. 3D printers, cryptocurrency, mesh networks, CRISPR, aquaponics, an ordinary garden, any DIY, owner builder, or peer to peer barter or service agreement prevents the benefits of that development and production from being parasitized by vampiric overlords. There's no fees they can charge, no taxable income to tax and extract, no man in the middle attack they can use to take some of what is yours and make it theirs.
Every thing you build or make for yourself or neighbors is less power for them, and more power for you - and all free people doing the same thing all over the world. Millions, maybe bilions of people around the globe today are learning how to do these things, writing code, building fish tanks, tilling gardens, transacting in crypto rather than fiat, and so on and so forth.
That's the most powerful weapon that can be deployed against the globalist bankster cabal, because war and revolution, internet arguments, demonstrations, and political parties and candidates are long captured by them and increase their wealth and power. Starve them of your life. Don't feed the parasites, but instead let your health and wealth grow ever more powerful by keeping their filthy fangs out of your neck.
Just profit more from your effort by making better stuff than you can buy, and paying yourself for doing the work untaxably. Live better, and quit paying them to live off of you. Just keep your money to yourself (in a sense. You simply make or barter for the product rather than earn taxable income to buy it and pay them a profit for making it). It's really that simple, just as simple as - and more effective in the long run - lying to little kids about geography. Only, doing this for you and yours is honest, and morally and ethically completely justified and right to do.

I don't think it matters what the masses accept or reject regarding government at all. What matters is what each individual grasps benefits them in their particular circumstances. Working at a job that skims half your income off the top in taxes so you can buy stuff the price of which is mostly profit or other costs of doing business with the wages leftover from taxation makes individual possession of means of producing goods way far more profitable.
That's what I think is going to matter, and when making your own security from armed thugs is undertaken successfully by some early adopters, that success will force everyone to follow that example in order to maintain parity.
I don't think politics is relevant to the transformation of society that is ongoing. It's simply cost benefit analysis, and no one wants to bear more costs than everybody else, or get less benefits than are potential to them. That's the real revolution: making politics obsolete.

I was lucky when in school, I had a few teachers who were exactly that, "Teachers" who taught us, mainly to think for ourselves. This included the ONLY Mountain range that is still growing, rather than shrinking. Those mountains have the tallest and the longest mountains in the world, the Himalayas with Everest and K2, only to name 2 of them.
Contemporary teachings are exactly what you brought to the fore, "pre-programming" to get us all to blindly accept what the Wealthiest wants us to believe. This being evidenced by the $1.2 TRILLION tax break that has benefitted ONLY the wealthiest among us.

Continents are categorised as such for convenience. It may be arbitrary, but human society can not function without definitions and categorisations. I remember thinking this about Europe when they taught us the continents. My disagreement persists to this day. Europe and Asia are obviously the same continent and the distinction between them is arbitrary. I would guess that this easiest-to-accept of lies, since it is of no consequence to one's daily life, would be a particularly good starting point in the indoctrination scheme. These sorts of lies could gradually be added over time until we arrive at the bigger ones that relate to philosophy, the physical sciences and economics.
In retrospect, I can also note that my teachers' responses to these questions about the trivial matter of the European "continent" sound awfully similar to the responses I was given when questioning inconsistencies between the Bible and what we were taught in church school, or when I challenged my mother on the existence of Santa Claus. All of them essentially amount to "just do what I say." The one that bothers me the most is the Santa Claus thing, because it's so near and dear to people's hearts. It's a very well crafted propaganda tool used to generate conformity. I've never seen a better one for at least singling out what you refer to as Mustangs in this series.
I hope my essay has confirmed in you a dedication to the observations of your own eyes and senses in lieu of obedience to authorities that are provably lying to you. I find your post valuable as it just goes to show how many games we people play. Almost like Matryoshka dolls, we have games within games within games. Something as simple as trying to define reality, any given phenomenon, or applying labels with specific meanings is a game unto itself. This, especially when separated among cultural or language barriers. I’m sure there are, were, and continue to be politics involved as it pertains to man's various definitions for continents. After all, we're talking about real estate here. So, it is no small matter, but rather the stuff wars are made of, occupying both the realm of the physical and the informational.
I am grateful for you contribution to the discussion. I sought to illustrate why this definiton of Europe as a continent is foisted on 6 year old children as the reason it is done at all, due to the ability of that undertaking to permanently hardwire our brains to deal with propaganda thereafter. While the political separation of Europe from 'other' is no doubt supportive of legacy and up and coming overlords, I really do think that the permanent affect on our brains and it's impact on us for life is the most powerful reason this has been undertaken.

I see you lean towards the second group, defending this obvious lie and those that have molded your mind to do so. Note that this is not merely a trivial matter of definition being haphazardly fluid, but a blatantly false mistatement of what continents are, and inflicted on children while they're forming the very circuits that enable them to define and conceive of their world, creating permanent pathways that determine how they handle this data.

It's not possible that something so expensive to do to everyone on Earth for generation after generation is unimportant. As this discussion proceeds, it's becoming more clear that is your only purpose in it. Since that confirms my theory by revealing the theory correctly predicts future events, I do appreciate it.
You haven't actually addressed the evidence presented in the OP. Your desperation to defend your worldview has resulted in your dancing around it, diverting from it, and apparently setting out to ignore the facts to the extent possible. I did not define continents singularly and alone. Many people that noted this indoctrination in their youth have pointed out the inconsistency in that inclusion of Europe as a continent. I have pointed out multiple times that no matter how you define a continent, Europe is not one.

There is no reasonable basis, regardless of precise definition of what a continent is, to name Europe a continent. AFAIK, no one has ever proposed calling India a continent, despite better reasons to do so geographically.
As usual, you simply ignore the substantive and demonstrable evidence that this isn't just some coincidental lapse in judgment by random geographers. Re read the OP. I carefully droned on for paragraphs to do exactly that, and the only acknowledgment of any of that evidence you undertake is to simply deny that I presented it. Further, rather than discussing societal control effected by this psychological manipulation, you devolve into ad hominem finger pointing at the conspiracy theorist, deflect by playing whataboutism, and - exactly as predicted in the OP - defend your attackers and attack your defenders.
I would call that strong evidence of the theory scientifically, as accurate prediction enabled by a theory usually reveals a theory is correct. You don't have to blatantly accept anything I say, but you reveal instead that you instinctively reject the possibility, and undertake to dance around relevant facts to protect your inculcated world view. You tell me what this means. I offer this evidence I have noted, and that is no demand you accept it.
You don't address it, but divert with whataboutism, and then reveal you simply and deliberately ignored evidence I provided. What does that reveal about your motives and ability to consider this evidence? I submit that I am strongly led to agree with Mark Twain, because you exactly behave as predicted by the theory. I don't care what you say about me, and the fate of the world does not depend on your freedom or lack thereof. It really doesn't affect me, and I'm not undertaking to defend me from you, nor my theory.
You haven't actually addressed it. You simply ignore, evade, and lash out with insults, as predicted. I offer the opportunity to benefit from the evidence I present. If it's incorrect, show how it is. If you're driven to protect the status quo, you should ask yourself why, rather than playing with disinformation tactics to reduce the discussion to bullying some assumed enemy. How does offering this information harm you? Why divert and trivialize the issues?
The only reason I can see for doing that is to defend your worldview. This is the very response I predicted folks unable to question their beliefs due to this inculcation of them during the window of opportunity for such indoctrination by institutions wielded by overlords for the purpose. Either address the specific facts I presented, which you do not do, or continue to lend support to my theory by acting exactly as predicted.
