✴️ HOW TO BE A MORE INFLUENTIAL PERSON ON STEEMIT

in #charlesfuchs7 years ago

"The people who influence you, are the people who believe in you."

This is an important questions a lot people probably ask themselves from time to time, how can I Influence more people to read my blogs, ready my comments, follow me, or better yet, "upvote" you on Steemit? 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a tuff question to answer... I'm going to break down this "Influential" concept the best way that I can. 🤔

Become a Chameleon... Mimic People's Interests

This is by far the hardest thing to master because it requires tons of knowledge and experience.

You have to become a versatile person and understand tons of "Subjects" if you want to influence massive amounts of people.

For example, People have many different interests in life. If they talk about cryptocurrency, photography, art, food, sports, art, music, business, religion, politics, etc... etc... you will have to know about them.

The more you know about these subjects, the more people will look up you as an influential person in that subject... attracting more followers, comments and votes 😀

"Charles, its impossible to know almost everything!" I totally agree but that's how you become an influential person to the masses.

However, If you lack knowledge of many subjects, try a different approach... Talk about a subject that you're really knowledgeable at.

For Example, Steemit has a huge cryptocurrency community with tons of whales, if you know more about crypto than the average person... start talking about it and become the go to guy.

Once you do, people will then see you as an influential person in the crypto space. What does that mean?... It means tons of upvotes for ya because you're droppin knowledge 😹

Everyday I'm learning new things just to become more of a "well-rounded" person so that many people can have a conversation with me about anything.

In there eyes, I'm a very influential person because I knew what they were talking about and gave them better feedback. What is the saying...? Knowledge Is Power 👨🏼‍🏫

A few months ago, I had no experience with photography but after watching and learning from fellow Steemians, I can now do awesome photos and talk about that subject with ease. Some of them have tons of Steem Power and you know what means, more upvotes for me 🤣

I never said it was going to be easy to become an "Influential Person" on Steemit. It takes tons of knowledge and experience to become one... but once you know what your talking about, more people will see you as an Influential person.

Like always, Keep on Stackin! 💞

It reminds me of "Stay hungry, stay foolish" from Steve Jobs. Let's learn more from our fellow Steemians and influence each other.

That's the best answer yet... learn from other STEEMIANS 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Id rather get lobotomised ,even then Id be to smart for this drivel

One of my favorite books is The 48 Laws of Power and this is one of them.

What about the 50th law with 50 cent 😬

Awesome book that is!

🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💪💪 ... Keep on Stackin! 💞

I need to be stackin more steem 🤣

Keep tellin em stackin!!!

droppinknowledge

Why u gotta put that nerd there haha 🤣🤣🤣

Haha it was the funniest meme i could find!!!

Just like from the movie ward dogs, "play the role that other people portrayed you as you are" though not the exact phrase but it's somewhat like that :D

Bustin out some wisdom right there :)

Time to up my knowledge! :D

You have plenty, I always see your droppin knowledge :)

I think you're the go to guy for being awesome! 👊😎

You are the go to girl @choogirl for being a bosslady 😎💖

Great thoughts, as always, @stackin! I never thought I could benefit so much from knowing a little bit about everything, but here we are.

I always thought to be successful you were supposed to be an expert. Not anymore baby! Rise up, trivia gurus of the world! 😁 😆

Thanks! Great post, resteeming.

We are all experts now, we have youtube 😂

Dude you always on point! you got discord???

On and off but you can find me by looking up stackin 😬

I agree! I didn't know much about crypto before I got here but I have been studying it and learned a lot. I can now comment about it with a better understanding. This adds a lot for me because I'm already well-versed in art, music and culture in general. Thanks for verifying this approach sensei!

Boom, that's what I'm talking about! Now you can lead the newbs who just starting out in crypto 🙌🏼

Thank you Charles. I am relatively new here on the Steemit platform. Your post helps me a lot. I resteem it for my network.

Have a great day,
Thomas

Welcome to steemit @thomashinze! I'm also somewhat of a newbie, about 3 and half months in. Just followed ya! 😀

Another great one man!

I used to hitchhike, a lot. Learning enough about as many topics as possible so I could have conversation with folks that picked me up was crucial. Probably saved my life a few times.

That's some expertise that you can use for the rest of your life 😀

I can't help but dwell on one point in your post. Versatility. Nobody on this earth can cover all topics because there are tons of it. It's a fact but one must still try to cater to the interests of others if he wishes to suceed. I'd rather be a jack of all trades but having a specialty is still important.

That makes tons of sense... become a Swiss army life 😀

Keep droppin the tips Stacking.
As you said it takes work.

I never said it was going to be easy to become an "Influential Person" on Steemit. It takes tons of knowledge and experience to become one... but once you know what your talking about, more people will see you as an Influential person.

Work hard now and play later.

"Work hard now and play later" totally agree!! 💪🏼🙌🏼💯

People only want to listen what they want to listen. Content is king and when an author writes that interests a particular audience, there will definitely be great response. So, yes, one has to be chameleon to put oneself into audience's shoes for a successful outcome. Great post!

Keep it up @stackin. You're serving and taking the Steemit community to the next level.

Resteemed!

Thanks boss! 😎

Aloha Charles, Thank you for the advice. There's definitely a lot to learn here on Steemit. I became a member in June of 2017. I wished I listened to tutorials that are on YouTube before I made an account. And I wished I bought bitcoin when I first heard about it last year. I didn't know how to acquire it. A friend of a friend helped me and I was able to start owning Bitcoin in June when it was valued at $2300.
Trying to understand Steem Dollar, Steem Power, and Steem is complicated. I'm still learning. Again, thank you for the advice.

Just be sure to take your time, once you get the hang of Cryptocurrency and steemit, it's going to a fun ride 😀

Scott Adams calls it the "Talent Stack". You might have read his book; "How To Fail At Anything And Still Win Big". It's a great read!

(I should write a review of it sometime).

Hmmm i never heard of it, thanks for the book recommendation, I'm going to see if I can get it on audio... thanks man! 🙌🏼

You'll love it I'm sure! :-D

I got the title wrong, it's how to fail at almost anything and still win big. Not lose.

I better edit that haha.

Nice to read your beautiful experience on steemit. thanks for sharing with us.

Full 100% and resteemed :-)

Inspiring post, thank you! Agree 100% percent -believing in yourself, never giving up,learning every single day something new, developing, contributing, supporting💪💪💪

Such wisdom here 😬... I couldn't of said it any better 💯

Knowledge is power. And with that power here comes the upvotes. Even if we read the whole post very seriously and make some good points write down, our knowledge will keep on increasing by itself. Steemit in itself an encyclopedia and more and more knowledge is being added here day by day.

Great tips boss, more people need to read your comment 😀

thanx dear.

From Steemit, I really can learn a lot from different people. How to brand yourself, how to write about a topic, how to create discussions, and more. There's even experience sharing like traveling, food, coffee, cryptocurrency. Just so much of great contents. They are all the mentors to me

Steemit is an awesome place to meet new people from around the world 😎

Indeed! Still a lot to explore.

Never stop learning, when you do someone else is using that time to make gains on you. 100% all the time! Knowledge is power and sharing that knowledge creates a following.

You busting out that value 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Very good post...I go and read one more time :)

Dang, I get a re-read! Awesome! 🤣

True talk Charles...you always on point!!!!keep stackin

Never stop stackin 🤣

Here's one thing I learnt from blogging:

Don't aim to be perfect.
Aim to be prolific.

So yeah. Write. Comment. Share. Upvote.
Just be CONSISTENT af!

And keep improving and keep giving.

Thanks @stackin

You said it perfectly! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Amen brother.

This is an important questions a lot people probably ask themselves from time to time, how can I Influence more people to read my blogs, ready my comments, follow me, or better yet, "upvote" you on Steemit? 🤷🏼‍♂️

@stackin. Great post. I am from indonesia.

Welcome from Las Vegas 😀

I'm very new here and I'm looking around trying to find out what people like. I'm interested in movies and art and strange things, so I've started to make post related to those things, but since I'm new, I only have a couple of posts!

Welcome @contrares! You'll do fine here, a lot of people here are interest in art. ☺️

Thanks. I like it here so far, lots of creative people.

It's funny you say this, I find i need to diversify more in my topics. I've done humor, business and video posts that have done fairly well, so its like Steemit's telling me, it's okay, go outside your comfort zone, we'll still be here!

Yeahhhhh man! So much new things to learn around, become the renaissance man 😀

very rightly said , we should talk to to interest of the one we are talking to , in order to influence. and having good knowledge in that subject is necessary, no doubt .
I would like to add, learning also isn't a big deal . the more you talk , the more you will get, so whether you get new follower or not, but talking to him is necessary.

You just added more knowledge and wisdom 😀

i gotta start posting about stormtroopers and breakdancing

Anything star wars deserve an upvote 😎

check out @lordvader when you have a few minutes and need to laugh...

Agree with everything like per usual. I just don't have what it takes to be a bigger influencer ehehhehe :D It's life :D

You have it, just hardly no one knows about it. Give it some time and you'll blow up like Eminem did in 1999 lol

ohhh I am here laughing really hard. Thank you so much for that. :D You are the man. You need to go and read my last post. It is just me being a big bitch... but well I guess that's who I am! I had the idea and I thought it was a funny one so I couldn't avoid to do that. although was a little bit scared to click post. LOL

This is not only good advice for Steemit, it's good advice for life. I've met so many interesting, successful, and awesome people simply by being a "weirdo" who somehow knows "something about everything."

In that way, I'm able to offer value to someone, no matter how "baller" or successful they are, simply because I've done a lot of cool stuff of my own. I always have something to share!

It reminds me of one of my old bosses, a successful and famous entrepreneur. We were sitting there waiting for him to speak and someone came up and said:

"Are you ___? Oh my god, I'm a HUGE fan!"

Guess how my boss reacted? He certainly didn't see the man as an equal.

Another man came up:

"Are you ____? I'm ____, I think I'm speaking after you."

Then that man sat down and had a casual conversation with my boss. Sure, he wasn't an "equal" in terms of success, but my boss and him became fast friends because he added value to the conversation by simply being an interesting and helpful person.

Now they hang out whenever they're in the same city, throwing back bottle after bottle of wine ;)

Dude, you are so right. You can use this philosophy in life. Always offer at value to people :)

In order to become a chameleon one needs to read and research topics that catches people's attention. It is simple to become a chameleon but it is not easy. Especially for people like me who is till a newbie in steemit. Thanks for this post! 😊😊

You'll do well here, Just be a very active member of the community and you'll do just fine 💯

@stackin. Just read your response. Yeap! I think I did well. My post was included to Jerry Banfield's upvotable 33 post. I can't really express how I feel about it but 1 thing is for sure. I got motivated making better posts than before. 😉

Steemit is the best place to widen your horizons and learn about new subjects. There are so many great people here to learn from and impart your knowledge to. As you rightly state dude "Knowledge is Power'. Great advice as ever buddy.

You hit the nail on the head @tremendospercy! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Droppin wisdom 😀😎💯

I can't wait until Dodgeball 2

I hope it's not like zoopander part 2, they destroyed a classic 🤣

I have some laughed with Zoolander Part 2 but yeah the first one was amazing!

I see the upbeatness vibe still bouncing off your articles - this really helps too.. & why I keep coming back to you!
you always write like you genuinely want more and more people to do well here:]

Oh Oh, I better mix up my content! 😂... I should talk about cryptos on my next post and I'll just get comments from mostly guys 😬💖 jk

oioi!!!!!

I can't argue with the crypto comment, I would just sport a smiley face and hope that you didn't see it as spam :]

don't change a thing :P

Hilarious... I'll probably will upvote it anyways if its just one emoji lol

Hmm Pretty interesting dude, yeah you should be versatile for impressing others :P
But sometimes it is a bit frustrated when you post something good and it ain't get that much response which we expect from :v

We all experienced that, when I first started steemit... it took me hours to post great content and made pennies but I never stopped :)

Same is the situation with me hahahah :D

"How to be more influential?"
Simply, having more steem power:P

I know a tons of people with steempower, they still can't influence people on steemit lol

maybe they don't care aahha

...and what you don't know, research it, learn about it put in some interesting facts...great info Stackin, thanks for your helpful post. :)

It's that simple... People are sooooo lazy these days haha

Very difficult to achieve that

Truth, if it was easy everyone would have influence 😀

Okay... me also wanna stackin with fellow steemians. Happy Stackin!

Thank for Share . great Post

G'day. Very true, in this forum you need to try and be everything to everybody first!
Then, work out your own direction and what your expertise actually is!
And then.........put it into an article that people read and appreciate!

So far, I understand it but I haven't been able to make it happen just yet.
Very soon, it's going to come together.

Good post, Thanks.

ps. (Maybe I can become the Steemit spelling Nazi..... we could all use a dose of that!! Just saying)
