That was intense.. And actually was tied 3-3 before the final votes came in.
Though.. It ended up being 6-3 in the end.

And also congratulations to @magicalmoonlight as well who did a really great job making it to the very end, there were a few sourcing issues with her final post but she fixed them and we were able to continue. She is a strong competitor and I don't think you can make it to the very end without being very talented.
Additionally congratulations to the 3rd and 4th place winners and the top 16 and everyone else who played or was a part in any way! Thank you for being a part of this fun experiment of a game in this new crypto world of digital currencies! :)
Will be a couple days before I send the steem prizes over as it's in my savings and takes time to bring it out.
Also.. I'm going to have @yeszuzia draw a picture of your character youhavewings for our virtual world, so please send me a picture of yourself you would like to have drawn up. (Originally it was just suppose to be a picture of the winner.. But.. Maybe we can have a picture drawn up of magicalmoonlight as well.)
If you don't want to share a picture of yourself, you can tell us what you would like your character to look like. It doesn't have to be a human either you can be almost anything you want.
For example Plushzilla is a plush Godzilla dinosaur type of thing and Luckysteem is a tree! So you don't have to even be human, but it should hopefully have some kind of sentience.
Also Yeszuzia can add in extra details if you'd like.. For example a sun or moon in the background or rain or lightning or something like that you know? She can add almost any kind of symbol or other elements if you want so if there's anything you really vibe with that you want in the picture associated with your character please let me know.
I'm also going to send you an IFC hat and a custom trophy. Maybe in the future we can get a better trophy.. But this is just a cheap like $5 or $10 one as I don't have the funds yet to do much more.
Plus I wanna get a plush toy of your character made from one of our vendors in the marketplace. (Once again maybe we can get one made for magicalmoonlight also depending on the price and such.)
Please give me some time to arrange all these things, I haven't even had the trophy made yet, or the plush toy. Not sure when everything will arrive, but I'll do it when I can within reason!
Unless you want to remain anonymous and don't want to give your shipping address out, then I can send it to someone else..? Or..?

Additionally @charisma777 I think has a little gift basket sorta deal she's working on with a calendar and maybe some other things?
Anyways.. This has been one of the most epic amazing experiences/adventures in my life, and I'm honored to have been a part of it with you all! <3

I can't say for sure when next season will start, but.. I do need a bit of a rest and time to prepare for the next one. So.. I'm guessing probably around November, maybe earlier.. But.. Probably around a month break.

This was a wonderful challenge/game/contest to play and to participate in. I had some wonderful times reading and making entries. For those that are just hearing about it for the first time, when next we start up, have a go. i think most people that entered one or two rounds, or all the rounds or joined halfway through, all had a lot of fun. So keep your eyes open, follow @apolymask or @ifc or both so you won't miss when to play.

I think it is quite clear from the close result that both of you are wonderful writers and your contribution to this season's IFC has been much appreciated!
I still stand by my statement that the IFC is the most interesting community interaction/movement that I have witnessed in my time here, and I hope that season 2 will provide some more interesting twists and turns :)

Yes, it was very close - so many great writers and writers that haven't discovered their writing abilities waiting in the winds. Who will it be next season? Have we all learned from this one? I think it's going to be even more challenging this coming season.
This has been such an exciting season! I've never been a part of a writing contest before and I have to say, I learned so, so much from this experience with the IFC. I found myself trekking miles to take photos, writing about topics I wouldn't normally write about and so many other things that I wouldn't normally have tried if it weren't for this contest.
This has been such a great platform for learning. I consider us all 'winners' and it's been so much fun seeing what everyone brought to every quest. It takes a lot to put yourself out there like that and try something new.
Thank you IFC for giving me the opportunity to be a part of something so special.

Glad you had such a positive experience. :) It was for me as well! I never could have imagined how much I would learn and grow as well! And.. what a battle it has been. @youhavewings truly came from nowhere about halfway through the season. Those were always going to be the hardest opponents to beat.
I got in early into @IFC and realized the potential and once we started getting headwind and others started hearing about what was going on I was sure we were going to get some great battles!
I had a blast and I couldn't be more pleased to how the season turned out! Looking forward to the next one now! :)
I did come in late in the game - completely oblivious. I just saw a topic and thought, "Hey, that looks interesting, I think I'll try to write something about it." I hadn't a clue what I was getting myself into - truly! I was just stretching my writing wings and somehow landed in the finals.
There are so many stories like that with everyone that participated - trying something new and then throwing themselves out there. The diversity of challenges really helps build a well-rounded experience list so that by the end of the season a person can put all those skills together into something they never thought possible in the beginning of their journey. I would imagine that goes for managing such a successful contest, too!
